Sad?  Beagle is a huge body, who is great on face offs and take the hardest minutes.  Beagle allows Bo to save his energy for a 200 foot game, rather than starting every shift in the D zone.  Kerfoot is a good player, but we don’t need that type of player.

Are we actually defending Jay Beagle and his atrocious season last year?

Bo+10th should be enough. Demko should be off the table imo. I'd float DiPietro but I'd honestly like to hang onto him as well

Lol. Devils laugh at this offer. Smh

For a 1st/2nd overall pick, that’s probably at least how much the bidding’s gonna take. What are you expecting? I’m not saying it’s worth it. It’s obviously not. But there’s a reason these rumors of trades for the top picks never go through - because of the asking price.

Hughes + 2019 first is probably “fair value.” But it’s gonna take more. I just added Horvat and devalued 2019 into 2020.

You really think OJ + AG + a medium first will get 1st/2nd like said in the original post I responded to?

I know what your saying, but Quinn and Bo + a mid 1st in 2020 would be more than enough to get kakko.

Honestly, would you trade quinn for kakko after seeing him these last 5 games. I'm not sure I would.

Today could not have gone any worse for me, and then I decide to go on the forums because why not, click click click and I read that Hughes blocks a shot and had x-rays done on his foot. Likely means he's out for some time.

I think Goldobin is starting to become a pretty good NHL player. He's not exactly racking up the points, but he's doing a lot more away from the puck than waiting on the outside for a pass. He's getting involved in the forecheck, gritty along the boards etc. And he's been making some real nice passes and trying to set up plays. I think next year we'll see a new and improved Goldobin, worthy of a Top 6 spot.

I'm not sure that Paranin or Skinner will sign in VAN. They'll probably want to play on a contender and will be expensive. I see Benning more of a "what's on sale today?" kind of guy. He'll get a reasonable facsimile of a Top player like Nyqvist or Panik and hope he ups his game playing with Pettersson.

As for the Draft, it wasn't long ago I was thinking they'd pick around #12-15. But now, it looks like they may end up with another Top 10, maybe even Top 5. I don't mind this at all, because they're not going to make the playoffs anyway. Canucks could be getting Hughes, Kakko, Dach, Cozens or Byram. Any one of them would be a great addition. Bring on the Draft lottery.

Agreed about Goldobin. Watching him for the past 2 weeks, hes much more confident with the puck. Visually he's been the Canucks best forward over the past 14 days. (Not saying much butttt) I hope he continues his play and the canucks include him in there plans come September.
