    This may be a blessing in disguise. If Demko shines then the goalie of the future has arrived and it makes Marky dispensable this summer. At the very least he might reconsider asking for too much money from the Canucks in FA. If Demko falters, then it becomes imperative that Marky is re-signed and Demko is let go or traded. This scenario sorts out all of the goaltending question marks going into the summer.
