  1. He was traded to the expansion Vancouver Canucks in 1970. He became the franchise's first offensive star, leading the team in points for the first 5 out of 6 seasons the Canucks played. As well, he was a great defensive player. Boudrias held the team record of 62 assists, achieved in 1974-75 and not broken until 2006-07 by Henrik Sedin. First Canuck to score while being 2 men down.  Boudrias had worn the "A" but was named team captain for the 1975-76 season.

Let's be real, Canucks were an over powered OP team in 2011. They were a juggernaut that not only finished top #1 on PP but also tied for 2nd best PK and had the best goals for and lowest GAA - ALLLLL in 1 season..  definition of a super team and of course no one wants to root for the top dog, that's why others tried to gang up against us.

It's universally understood Vancouver always has had a competitive team up until recently so they were feared and respected enough to be rallied against..

Toronto on the other hand wasn't coming in over powered or top dog, they are always mid tier yet we were hoping for them to get far.

Always? Guess you weren't around from 69-94. yes they went to the final in 82 where they were swept in 4 but they only got there on sheer will power and the planets were lined up for them.

Well......I made a comment about hating losing to the Alberta teams and a couple of eastern teams. I totally forgot about how I hate losing to Vegas as well.

I guess my "hate," if you will, stems from the fact that they had success right from the get go. It's known to all hockey that they've been in the conversation as contenders every year since they've been in the NHL. I mean they reached the Stanley Cup in their first ever season. How f#cked up is that! I know the Avs had success in '96, but they weren't an expansion team. As many know, they moved to Denver from Quebec City as an established team already.

It pains me to see an expansion team to not go through the growing pains as many former expansion teams. That just doesn't seem right, don't you think?!?!?!???

Even Seattle is doing good! I'm sure it's Betman's doing. His pro, "USA," evil expansion plans I'm afraid, are coming to fruition.  He's determined to make the Coyotes work, and I understand his next moves for domination might involve Houston and Atlanta?!?!?!??!?!? Anywho.........

    Tank on Canucks....Tank on!

have you ever tried getting inside the head of one of those instant Vegas fans? Because I'd really like to see an essay on that. What is that about??
