  1. You can have all the skilled forwards you want, if they are having to constantly retreat into their own zone and start from

behind their net, it nullifies the skill they had in the first place.

When you have a Defenceman back there who is able to put the puck on your stick in full flight, you can transform a player from a 50 point man to a 70 point man. This is what Ehrhoff did for the twins.

overall, i felt the ppv was average, at best with some bright spots

the fatal 4 way tag match was good. lots of action and the outcome was what i expected. you're not having new day lose the titles before summerslam

sheamus and crews was what it was. i knew crews was winning, so i didn't care. i had these wings all up in my mouth at this point

as i expected, no one cared about the womens match. nattie turning on becky, i didn't care for. i just. did. not. care. WINGS!

ziggs and corbin, i was starting to run out of wings and i was starting to get a little mad

styles and cena was a good match, if you look past clearly hearing cena call spots LOL. you knew two things were going to happen: cena wasn't losing clean and aj wasn't winning clean. this keeps the feud going longer. i've reached satisfaction from my wings and it was clean sailing from here

the money in the bank match was carnage. absolute carnage. i was afraid kevin owens broke his back, taking a michinoku driver on the ladder standing side up. that looked like it sucked, much like ambrose taking the owens frog splash on the ladder right before. all guys were pretty over but the crowd was behind both ambrose and owns, but i think we knew what the outcome was. i aint even mad

the us title match, speaking of wwe talking about titus and fathers day, i decided to get me some dairy queen ice cream cake. when i came back and sat down, rusev won and i don't care. i like rusev, but i don't care

the title match was money. roman didn't walk out champion and the right guy won. it's amrose's time, even if its a token run

I thought the tag match was good, but there were a couple obvious botches, that were unfortunately obvious enough to disrupt the flow. Correct me if I was wrong, but there was a solid 3 count by the ref that no one made any mention of no? Also looked like Cass was late at the end there

Valuable roster spots? So drop Burrows so the Canucks can rush another rookie and screw up their development?

Well their 13 million in cap space can stay in the pockets of Francesco if that suits you better:rolleyes:

Wouldn't Burrows be worth more as a trade chip at the trade deadline than bought out and carrying dead cap space?

It's not cap space that's the problem, it's the fact he's taking up a valuable roster spot

Yea I remember his tears when burrows crushed them even with all odds against us and them cheating and having refs pulling strings all series.

I'm sure being part of a dynasty makes up for that

Here's to you guys! I'm just going to find a way to get to New Zealand every Summer from May - September

This is what's wrong with Canucks fans. Needless rumors obsessing over players in their personal lives.

Something tells me "out of shape" for a hockey player is still in way better shape than 90% of people out there. I doubt he could have gotten that out of shape in less than a month anyways.

Pot is no worse than going and having a drink in the offseason. There's worse things he could be doing if true.

Most players take a month or so off after the season to relax or unwind before putting in hard work at the gym.

If he comes into camp in the same shape he was in this year though, there's a problem.

move it along guys, he is not signing so what options do we have? also how much value does this guy realistically have? What teams in the market want a goaltender, is Benning that dumb that he would sell Demko to our rival. Seems he enjoys helping out Calgary alot? Hopefully Benning realizes Demko has to be moved and not to Calgary, because yes they need goaltending. I don't know what other teams need goaltending in the East. Realistically it will be a trade with Demko and more.

Pretty silent all of a sudden eh? @desiboynux4lifee*******

    Serious.

The kid's not going to walk in to the NHL at the deadline next season after we 'move Miller' as many are prognosticating.

He may be one of the world's top goalie prospects but he's STILL JUST A PROSPECT and is going to take time to adapt to pro hockey.

He'll likely take a good 20 games in Utica to get his footing and will spend next year in Utica likely splitting starts. The year following, he'll likely get the majority of starts and perhaps a call up or two. Third year, maybe he pushes for a backup role.

This is not going to happen overnight folks...

This is all true, but don't tell Alf that

Question: Why are undrafted college prospects such hot commodities? Weren't they undrafted for a reason?

The majority of these guys are late bloomers physcially, just like in Chris Tanevs case. Or they get to their senior year and figure out they can dominate, but signing guys like this is more likely than not to bust.

Mostly though because it's a free prospect not costing you a pick

Lots of guys 5-10 years ago would have caused this stir if they "retired" like this.  Not saying he isn't a decent fighter but I'll take the GSP, Hughes, BJ Penn, Liddel, Couture era over this guy any day.

If this is the end I will put him in the Sonnen, Hardy category.

Sure he's not the best fighter ever but his ability to sell the buildup to a fight? He's pretty top notch there regardless of how it goes

  11. 1 hour ago, Stelar said:

I hope he does retire just to see the look on Dana's face.  He came in with hype, took a bunch of dough and is out at his "apparent" peak.  Lots of lost money for that prick Dana. How he made so much money in the UFC fighting against these guys is beyond me. Three hard fights and was 2-1

Mar 5, 2016 UFC 196: McGregor vs. Diaz Nate Diaz Loss Submission (rear naked choke) 2 4:12
    Dec 12, 2015 UFC 194: Aldo vs. McGregor Jose Aldo * Win KO/TKO 1 0:13
    Jul 11, 2015 UFC 189: Mendes vs. McGregor Chad Mendes * Win KO/TKO 2 4:57
Jan 18, 2015 UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Siver Dennis Siver Win KO/TKO 2 1:54
    Sep 27, 2014 UFC 178: Johnson vs. Cariaso Dustin Poirier Win KO/TKO 1 1:46
Jul 19, 2014 UFC Fight Night 46: McGregor vs. Brandao Diego Brandao Win KO/TKO 1 4:05
Aug 17, 2013 UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen Max Holloway Win Decision - Unanimous 3 5:00
Apr 6, 2013 UFC on FUEL TV 9: Mousasi vs. Latifi Marcus Brimage Win KO/TKO 1 1:07

Who else retiring would cause as much of a stir? That's how he made so much money. Skill and strength is only 25% of the battle, Charisma is the rest and he had that in spades

Under 6 feet for am NHL defenceman is considered small. Will he make it difficult for opposing forwards to crash the crease? Keith is either 6"1" or 6"2"  How successful has Vancouver been with d mean under 6"0"? If you consider Biega a success story then ok.

Crash the crease is good and all but if you can't create offence from your Dmen you won't win. Stretcher is all about that.

Its been 5 years and people are still clamouring for an Ehrhoff type. How many times did he clear the crease?
