Well OEL doesn't want to waive as I read the bruins are interested. Why wouldn't he want to play for a winning team?
Yes new D Coach to make us harder to play against and seems we do better going right at players with the puck I stead of waiting for something to happen.
Bo needs to stay,Miller must ,OEL needs to go BB needs to go and we will be better.
He probably doesn't care about winning. Dude has played for dumpster fires his entire career

Rebuild or not, we need tough guys like Schenn around

Country club member, soft as butter but he has one heck of an agent

Unfortunately, we haven't seen that Beoser since 2020. It's time to move on. He should of just received his QO, and we would be free of it in the offseason. Nope; PA gave WAY to much term and $.
why even give him the QO? we could have walked away, that cap space would have been so valuable

Just saying if we cant trade Horvat or Miller for valuable assets back.. How good are they really?
Horvat would be in demand if made available at the deadline imo

I assume you watched on tv. I was at the game. Boeser was awful. He is slow and lazy. He has lost what he had a couple years ago. I don't know if he is disinterested or what but he is a liability on the ice for the Canucks - and I like the kid.
Sorry to say but he needs to improve massively or he needs to go.
I think we're on the same page. He sucks and we'll have to pony up for a team to take him

The best cultural change that could happen is getting Bedard. Kid from BC, who wants to be here and wants to win here. All for a tank. Enough of this competitive rebuild bullshit.
Seems like management won't have to do anything for the tank

Teams in BIG trouble if changes aren't made and soon. If they wait too long like last year it will be another LONG PAINFUL season.
We need a lot of things and D is on top of that list. Going to have to way overpay for a top 4 D right now. We could be stuck here

I watched the game focussing on every shift that Boeser played. The only word that came into mind was "ineffective". What a sad situation this has become. Regrettably, he's a complete liability when he's on the ice.
Should have traded him years ago, should have let him walk last summer but nope here's a 3 year extension

Boeser's fly by on Backstrom that lead to the goal made me throw up in my mouth, totally inexcusable, at least get in his way a LITTLE bit. What value does Boeser actually have now? Slow-mo .gifs of hockey hair for the social media team? anything else?
I thought we weren't going to offer him a contract and just let him go free. That cap space would have been at least useful

this management group hasn't done anything bold except adding diversity

What is with Horvat and Boeser's demeanor out there? Boeser is doing fly-bys, Horvat doesn't want to hurt a fly out on the ice.
Washington scored 4 even strength goals tonight and Horvat's line was on for the first three. Embarassing.
I'm not including Pearson in this because he was actually the one saving grace of that line the entire night.
That's Horvat and Boeser.. don't expect change

This is just a continuation of Benning's "plan"

A more defensive minded defenseman. Myers is a blend of both, but more leans in the offensive direction in my opinion. Having a defensive specialist with Hughes or OEL pays dividends, as noticed when Schenn played with both.
Myers is a great Dman, but became redundant with the OEL acquisition. In addition, with us apparently wanting to bring up Rathbone next year, it is just much of the same.
Sounds like the redundancy is on the left side

Really? It's like 15 20 percent of a contract. Many would leave 15 to 20 percent income to work closer to home.
He's so much closer to home now, it's prob worth it to him. Money ain't everything
Do we really need to blow this all up?

Our NHL roster is simply not good enough. We don't have any cap space and we don't have any assets to improve the team. We need to take a step back. We were in no position to be trading first and 2nd rounders like we have been.
