I see, kinda like Starbucks here in America. I live in the American South. I know, kinda odd that I'm a hockey fan, especially a Canucks fan.

Yeah, we probably could get some better players for less money elsewhere.

What league is the Smoke Eaters in?

The Kingfish were here 7 seasons, I think. The first several were bad, and the ones after were fair, just enough to get in the playoffs, but not past the first round.

Good to see the Salmon Kings logo. Brings back memories of the former Baton Rouge Kingfish (now the Salmon Kings).

It's good to know we can ALL be Canucks, even us fans who live nowhere near the Pacific Northwest.

At least today one may have satelite and/or Internet to keep up with hockey and actually see games. For those who aren't watching, they just really don't know what they're missing. As long as you can watch hockey yourself, you got something to be thankful for. Me, I listen to the Canucks games here on the Internet, and I'm more thrilled about that than actually WATCHING another

Actually, few down here talk hockey. And I'm one of the few. Football is king here. But I'm not into that a whole lot. To find people down here who actually talk hockey, you have to be where a team exists: Nashville, Tampa, Raleigh, etc.

How is life Downunder? Is it easy enough keeping up with hockey down there?

I love "LOST" also. Can't wait for the new season. But new jerseys for the team first.
