  1. Introducing the old-fashioned (albeit a little painful when taking a #2) squat toilet.

    Squat-toilet-with-tank.jpg

Also completely jacked from Korean subway stations. Easy to clean, clean for the user, since there is no direct contact, and it could work. Of course, the folks here would have no idea how to use it (except the Europeans and Asians). Hmm, screw the pure Canadian minority and make the change!

Easy to clean? HA! I imagine people wont even bother to aim at all.

  2. Get public facilities at every single skytrain station. Keep it down to just two toilets and a urinal for men, and 3 for women. It really irritates me when I go to GM place, that I have nowhere to pee (I start my trek from Langley, so that's holding it in for a long time).

Eww. Do you know how dirty those restrooms would be? nasty...

  3. Only GSP would dominate every second of a 5-round championship bout and apologize to the fans for a poor fight haha. Props to Hardy for not tapping even when his arm was discovering all kinds of new uncomfortable positions.

    Heck ya.

GSP was a beast. Totally let up on Hardy during that second time he has his arm on lockdown though.

  4. My Grandpa didn't die from the war, but the injuries he suffered plagued him throughout his life. However, the war was his only opportunity for survival. His mother had mental issues, and his dad was a drunk. He had nothing except for an opportunity. He joined at a very young age. One day while in the barracks a sergeant yelled at him because he had facial hair. Why haven't you shaved! he yelled. My grandpa responded that he didn't know how. A teenager so young he hadn't learned to shave was risking his lilfe for his country. He flew in th bomber airplanes and had gas dropped over him. He returned to Canada a hero, and married my grandmother. He wanted to attend law school but he still didn't have the money. My grandma offered to work but during that time my grandfather would not allow that.

Instead, he worked his way up starting as a insurance claims manager. He would move to Prince George from Vancouver and became involved in politics. He would go on to become an MP, representing Prince George-Bulkey valley, one of the largest geographic constituencys in the country. He served from 1979-1988, when he retired from politics.

My Grandpa ensured that his grandchildren would have the opportunities he didn't have as a 20 year old man. He set up an education trust fund for all his grandchildren to ensure that they could afford a university education.

Other reasons aside, my Grandpa has been a major influence on my decision to go to law school. He has given me so many opportunities that he never got to experience at my age. For me to waste these opportunities because of laziness is the worst thing I could possibly do. My grandpa is my biggest motivator. May he rest in peace.

Please share your stories as well so that the lives of the men and women who served our country live on.

    Aww thanks!

    Not a problem, its true.

Keep the personal stories coming guys! They are great to read and remember.

  5. I hate people who don't move into the window seat if it's available and the bus is packed like sardines.

Taking the 496 home during the 5pm plague today, I found myself lucky enough to have someone get off in Richmond, opening up a seat. I looked around, no one else went for it, and no one looked like they needed it (elderly, children, women - hey...gotta have some chivalrous men out there :P ). Yet, to my anger, the Asian female (yes, them again) sitting in the aisle didn't budge. I said "excuse me, ma'am" to get her attention, so she could scoot her legs to allow me in. She didn't flinch. I coughed a bit, hoping to get her to move; she didn't. Finally, I threw my backpack in towards the window seat, pushed her into her seat, and then sat down in the window seat.

the best part is, when I was getting into the seat, I ripped this huge fart that went unheard because it was a D40HF bus. Needless to say, it was in the "silent but deadly" category :D

i HATE when they do that too. and you're right, its ALWAYS asian females!

  6. I'd drive my convertible babe, no need to.

I'd fit in well down there. I look even more sexy with an awsome tan, I love the beach, I belong there.

You sound perfect for Cali. When are you going?
