  1. Hey Cory...thanks for taking the time to blog this week. I'm sure everyone appreciates the time and effort you put in....You did a great job We really hope to see you out here soon.....when we do we'll for sure know who you are ! Have a great rest of the summer....
  2. Good luck to everyone on the Grind tomorrow Just think of the awesome view you'll have from the top ! Let us know how it went tomorrow....
  3. Oh and one more thing...I guess you should be glad you're not Cody this week arriving halfway through everything and still recovering from the draft and grad... !!!! I'm sure the Grouse Grind will really be a treat for him I can see it now. Look waaaaaaaaaay up the mountain....now go climb ! Nasty.
  4. So welcome to Vancouver Cory ! You're right about downtown... it is great....especially with the sun but clearly you need someone to give you a tour...Have you been to Jericho beach or Spanish banks ? They aren't far from downtown and will be amazing this weekend if you have time... So I read your post last night about the Grouse Grind. I work in North Van so there is no shortage of people around me who do it all the time (for FUN no less..and no I am not kidding !) Actually some do it every week and some do it as a group after work...go figure. I took a short survey among the regulars and it seems anything in the 40 minute range is actually really good . It takes the average person about an hour and a half. The record is like 26 minutes or something. Look at it this way. 20 minutes more quickly and you'd be setting a record ! Having said all this I should say there is one very fit woman who actually sprints up in like 40 minutes but I don't think she really counts because she weighs like 2lbs or something... By the way if you're big into reading I noted one of the bloggers last year (Mason ? Ryan ?) was reading "Hockey Tough". I checked it out at Chapters and it looks like an interesting book. Have a fun week. Your blog is great by the way. I can't believe you have time to write after your busy day. Yesterday's comments about the Grind were just tooo funny. Good luck on the climb...its supposed to be great weather at least and the view will be great. You can hit the Starbucks in Edgemont on your way back !
