I recently remembered I had actually played against Kyle Beach and even gone to training camp with him. I wasn't good enough to keep going but my heart is just broken seeing him go through what he did. I have lost all respect foe Toews. All he cares about is being a good company man and his own success. He complimented these monsters but bullied Kyle Beach. Also why is Drew doughty left off the hook? He was part of that $&!# show as well.

Hockey culture is horse $&!#. I've also recently learned a childhood friend's career was ended after being Called the N word by the opposing coach and then hit from behind the next shift.

Being a company man shouldn't be a compliment. Standing up for those with less power then you not standing up for those with more power is what makes a true leader.

They can take those Stanley Cups and Gold Medals and shove them. Imagine it was your child that was raped and subsequently bulied and covered up.

Did they ever release what the sexual misconduct actually was?

I've only seen the Beach interview on TSN so far

Anyone here got an exchange in Canada they recommend?  I was looking at just dabbling a bit for fun but see Binance won't take CAD so got any other suggestions?

Ive used ShakePay without issue. You can only buy ETH and BTC.

You can buy either of those two and transfer to another exchange (Binance) if you want to dabble in alts.

No I wouldn't if my family is in the house. The Afghan military outnumbered the taliban by wide margin. You mean to tell me that with the numbers, the US training, weaponry, they couldn't at least put up a fight? Look no further than the Afghan president who did ran for the hills. The fact that the gov was overthrown in a matter of days pretty much sums it up.

Well, you and your family are dead in that scenario so good job dummy.

At least you managed to look tough in the process.

Not neccesarily all but the Afghan soldiers defintely should've grown a set. Apparently a lot of the Afghan soldiers (trained by the US) basically ran for the hills from hearing gun shots. There should've been some sort of push back. If somebody was robbing my house, I sure as hell ain't leaving my next door neighbor to fight my battles. Its a tough situation and its really hard to decide whether it was right to pull the soldiers out, but there needs to be some accountability on the Afghans as well. 20 years the US was there, Im sure thats enough to grow some resemblance of a backbone with all the training, the weapons, intel etc.

If 5 dudes with guns come in to your house, you would be running faster then Usain Bolt

You fight if you think you have a chance to win. No American troops means the afghan military doesn't have a chance.

good thing a bandaid might cover the hurt then eh.

20 years, and the entire nation folded in days.  aside from the most vulnerable seems pretty obvious nobody was willing to fight.  but do go on about how this is incorrect

Pretty easy to be on a keyboard sitting in the safest country in the world talking down towards people not willing to fight in a country where people are still stoned to death and beheaded.

Respectfully, how is it NOT the fault of the Afghan people?  They refused to change, they refused to defend their homeland and for all of the good will offered turned around and accepted Taliban rule outside of the cities en masse the second it was offered.

There are videos full of young men fleeing the nation as fast as possible leaving behind the vulnerable instead of fighting for it.

20 years of wasted lives, time and money and nothing was achieved because nobody in fact really seemed to want to achieve much change at all so who is at fault for this?  We're speaking of literal DAYS the nation folded....DAYS.

Good god my brain hurts from reading this...

Millions of people trying to flee the country but no one wanted change right?
