Almost had another 2 nukes today.On wasteland I was at my 17 killstreak,about to call in my Chopper Gunner when some guy randomly decides to go after me with his predator missile when like my whole team was standing together,and I was laying down in the back grass.Ended up going like 56-4.Then on karachi,we were playing HQ PRO.And I got to a 10kill streak before calling in my harriers,and i forgot to call them in before i got my 11th kill.So my chopper gunner finished me with 23 kills,I was just calling in my harrier,when the match ended. Terrible luck,whyd we have to win 200-0

You guys think the AK has a lot of recoil? I think it has like none at all. Once you fire, it goes up a tiny bit, but it stays there the entire time you fire. Recoil to me is when the gun keeps going up or bounces up and down. But with the AK, I find that it's effortless to aim it. Personal preference I guess. I was kind of disappointed how bad the recoil on the SMGs is. Almost impossible to hit anyone even a bit far away, but the P90 is sexy as hell when the map permits using it.
AK easily my favourite gun, then ACR. I like the P90 too with silencer cause it usually wins fights in close range. All the guns all seem kind of the same tho, just with different recoil. I've never and probably will never use a LMG. Always struck me as big noob guns that people use if they don't know how to aim properly. If I didn't like cold-blooded so much, I'd probably use the FAL. That thing with stopping power is pretty beastly. It reminds me of my favourite gun in CoD4, I forget what one it was but it was one of the last guns you unlocked and it was single shot too. Great accuracy and with stopping power and FMJ it can be a beast.
The LMG'S arent neccesarily a noob gun.I love the AUG HBAR. Good damage,almost perfect accuracy with Grip,okay fire rate and a huge clip. Anything thats not extremely close range it's beast for.I can usually get 4-5 kills in 1 clip.
Perks?
I love Scavenger, only ran out of ammo, maybe once or twice, and really helps me because I use the Rocket Launcher as a secondary and you only get one shot.
Hardline helps me get those Care packages and Predator Missles often. (I'm not the greatest player)
And the third one I really dont care and makes no difference, I randomly picked it, Increased hip fire, though I always use aim...
Steady Aims okay,but if you're playing anything like search & destroy use ninja,I use ninja pro because the silent footsteps is useful on any game mode

You'll find that if you stay at level 70 you get bored rather quick,sometimes its fun to do it all over again anyways.

Can anybody tell me what exactly happens when you Prestige (just curious because I'm close at 63). I was told that all your guns, killstreaks, challenges, etc. are erased and it's as if you are starting from scratch, but I don't really believe that.
Yeah you lose everything except all of your titles and emblems which you keep throughout the game.After you prestige once,every second time you get an extra create a class spot.

I'm not a very good sniper, unless its Hardcore and i go crazy with Intervention (Thermal) with Slight of Hand Pro (Faster Aiming Down the Sights) but is the Barrett very inconsistent? Like sometimes it's 2 hit, then sometimes 1? Because all my friends use the Barret (Thermal) and i've tried it before but it always seems to be 2hit. I know they don't have FMJ on, am i doing something wrong?
(It's also not because they get HS)

In MW2 Each Player Has 100 Base Health unless they have painkiller on
Each Sniper has 70 Base Damage Regardless of Range,Using a Silencer reduces the base damage to 50,Stopping Power Increases damage by 140% (1.4x)
Unique Body-Part Damage Multipliers:
Weapon - Head, Chest, Body, Limbs(i.e arms,legs)
Intervention - 1.5, 1.5, 1.1, 1.0
Barrett .50cal - 1.5, 1.5, 1.1, 1.0
WA2000 - 1.5, 1.5, 1.0, 1.0
M21 EBR - 1.5, 1.1, 1.0, 1.0
To get the damage output of each weapon, multiply the base damage 70 (50 if using silencer) by the body-part area (1.5, 1.1 or 1.0). Multiply the result by 1.4 if Stopping Power is being used, and that should be your final total.

Intervention - 105, 105, 77, 70
Intervention (w/Silencer) - 75, 75, 55, 50

So The only way to not get a OHKO (One Hit KO) With non silenced and stopping power is to hit them in the arms or the legs on both guns.

Search and Destroy and Domination.
Domination is all prestige 2 and under so EASSYYYY kills. Search & Destroy on the other hand, is probably the hardest game.
I just finished Multiplayer. Prestige 10 Level 70.

Is there anyway you could play with 8 people if you had two TVs, two PS3s and two COD games? We had 7 people with two TVs beside each other with a PS3 and game for each but we couldn't figure out how to link them up. Is this possible? One guy told us that it only works for Halo...
Yeah you can,you gotta use lan party.Meaning you need a wireless connection in the house you're playing in,and all 8 of you can connect through that.

From now on im just leaving the nuke on.
I got 4 25+ killstreaks within an hour and a half.Including going 67-4 on quarry by spawntrapping the other team with chopper gunner and getting a solid 30+ kills with that alone

If you're gonna use any lmg use the Aug Hbar or w/e. I like the scar a lot more,but if you must use that one

Our team was nuked 3 times in a row in ground war today,I was having a terrible day where i dint go 1.0 or better for like an hour and a half,and my kd dropped from 1.57 to 1.49 :S
After that I ragequit and threw my controller at my tv

They should be using ninja pro if they're playing hardcore,then they have no footsteps.
You're right in the sense that you'll be able to hear their gun,but silencer on most guns i just dislike it.

Silencer+Camouflage + Ninja = win in hardcore.
Well bottom line is, you don't need that much damage in HC anyways. 2 shots with a silencer will kill.
But my point is nothing to do with damage,it's why are you using silencer in hardcore when your shots dont show up as a red dot on the minimap anyways

You don't need to do that much damage in HC. Stopping power becomes obsolete.
I didn't say to use stopping power,I said why are you using silencer when it's useless for hardcore,except reducing your range and therefore your damage

One a side note, i barely play anymore due to the fact that school is gay.
.......i swear if you were the person in my lobby today I will rage so hard.
First game,i started off 0-2,then went to 23-2,I Got my 24th kill after my AC130 left and that glitch thing killed me.I started throwing everything around me because it took me forever to get a nuke (I only started trying for it today). He continued to stay in for the next 3 games then left after sending a "lol u mad" message.
On the plus side,I unlocked 1887 akimbo and it is hands down the best thing in the game.It has insane range,and crazy damage and lots of ammo <3

Cold blooded is really useful for HC too.
My favorite class for HC:
M4A1 with silencer and heartbeat sensor
USP with FMJ and silencer
Throwing knife
Bling Pro
Cold Blooded Pro
Ninja
Invisible class ftw!!!
Stopping is so useless in HC
Why are you using silencer for hardcore?It reduces your range which therefore reduces your damage.If you like the iron sights so much,just keep it naked haha.

Why no ability for silenced magnums?
why no silenced desert eagle? They tried to keep a realistic factor to this game and fact is neither of those guns have silencers in real life.

How useful is the Rapid Fire add-on? I want to switch it out but I'm not sure how much it's helping me.
no,do not use rapid fire.
It's a waste of the "bling" perk,and you don't really need it on any weapon.On an smg it's just stupid because they already have an insane fire rate.Anything more,you'd just be wasting ammo

yeah, the m16 has way too much recoil for me, Plus i've found that that Famas is a lot better than the m16 anyways.
I agree with cream, I use scavenger pro for all my classes except when i'm playing search and destroy.Also,I like ninja more than comando 1.)for the silent footsteps when you get ninja pro & 2.) for all the people that use heartbeat.

I didn't say headshots had anything to do with your level.
But explain to me how it's fun?If you enjoy playing with a friend play private match,or just play team death and talk to each other.Shooting someone repeatedly in the head when they're defenceless just isn't my definition of "fun"

Can someone help with with the FMG challenge, I've finished everything on my scar and unlocked everything I just don't know how to do this final FMG add on thing. (Get 40 kills or something like that)
other than getting the exp for it it really is a waste of a perk.
I wouldnt even bother using that attachment to be honest,but what deadmau5 said it's when you shoot through walls or any other surface.
@Daniel: You do headshots so much,you had everything done in cod4,and when I was playing with you the other day you had like blue tiger for everything,I don't understand why people even bother cheating.You're gonna be playing the game + it's so easy to get headshots anyways.
Im at level 66,and so far i've gotten urban m16,urban intervention,blue tiger mp5k,red tiger scar. It's really not that hard to do it legit.

pave low's not that great.Use harrier air strike instead especially if you're playing domination,in team death it's still pretty effective too.

well you brought up your kd in the context that it was "good" refering to the fact that it's harder to get kills in mw2,when in fact it's way easier to do so.

this game is so ridiculously hard it isnt even funny. i was a 10th prestige on cod4 with a 1.02 kd and i had a 1.34 kd on cod 5. mw2 comes by and right now i have a 0.87 kd. what the hell is this
i need some gun suggestions as well as perks. i'm level 39
no offense,but a golden cross with a 1.02 kd is nothing to brag about :S I was the worst player in the begining(pretty much had a .5kd and lower for my first 2 prestiges)And I got my kd up to 1.32 by the time I hit golden cross.For mw2 just use scar + scavenger + stopping + ninja if you want easy kills.You wont run out of ammo,and stopping makes it like a 3-4 shot kill.
Scavenger Pro = NEVER RUN OUT OF AMMO. Give it a try.
Oh and Rager + Akimbo = win
Akimbo is terrible,Other than to piss people off,or for fun it really has no use.Only person I've seen it use it well was the guy using dual shotguns as his secondary.

The re-coil on it makes it almost unbearable to use.If you're gonna go with a handgun i'd use either USP or .44 Magnum,and I prefer the magnum myself.
