I would rather see an overpass at stadium to get to GM place. After the baby dieing nearby I am a little disturbed walking there.

Hey for the double length bus in the first picture what routes have those buses in Vancouver, I haven't seen one. Also how long have they been in service lol.

Pretty hard to believe they have financial problems when they get so much bussiness it takes years to make an order of trains lol.

Ya it would be hard to check tickets but they could always just check you as you go into the station.

Just remembered something, does anyone else feel their ears pop a little bit when they get out of the tunnel on the Canada line. It was pretty annoying since it happens everytime. Also can they remove it somehow.

Ya I didn't like it too. I think they might've done that just to make it easier to read and bigger but people could just get up and read it closer.

I agree completely, its amazing how little they care about others. A lot of old grandmas that just push their way in no matter how little people are in the train and how much time they have.

Might just be it wasnt on very high. Went on Canada line again today, the train stopped at Brighouse for 9 mins. Pretty low number of trains running then.

Ya most people had cameras which probably means they were only there to take pictures and etc. because its opening day. Also are they going to be continuing stamping passports, in the booklet it says only some continue stamping until the 23rd.

Ya it is a good sign but having your 1st time on the Canada line be waiting hours then being crammed into a train with weak AC isnt a good start. I was pretty lucky, didnt need to wait too long.

lol Finding people to work should be so easy right now. So many people dont have jobs. lol I dont too but Ill have to quit for school in a few weeks if I did. I wouldve volunteered to be honest, I need hours for school.

lol Ive never seen such a long line. If that same line was at GM Place it would go around and around forever lol. Couldnt they take the B-line.

Ya at Metrotown not a lot of ppl walk down to that side. The smarter ppl get an avantage though lol. Stadium station is probably about the biggest station.

Ya, Skytrain uses induction with the white bar in the middle. Canada only uses it wheels like a car. lol

Not a very good opening day, huge lineups. They made getting stamps crazy hard by putting them outside where we have to line up agian to get back on. The trains are wide but not long and very slow compared to Skytrian. Id still prefer them to use skytrains technology instead.

Thanks again, great answer. Fun to read about. Kind of scary knowing they had to put in two concrete bar in case the train derails. Hope they aren't going to be needed. Makes me appreciate the Skytrain a bit more since it seems safer, faster and lower chance of breakdowns. I can imagine the Canada lines motor freezing up in the winter.

Just a little question, since Skytrain is diffrent from Canada line. Does anyone know where the electricity comes from in the Canada line, in the skytrain tracks there is 2 bars with power so should be diffrent too then right. Just curious about the technology lol.

Hey, does anyone know the where the entrance is for the Waterfront for the Canada line, I didn't see it last time I was there neither did I see Vancouver City Centre?

been on the new skytrian, it had a lot more space but less seats but looks great. i hope they paint up those canada line trains, they look awful. it might cost a bit more but its far too dull imo. kids could design the front of the canada line trains better than what it is now
