ARIZONA WINS THE STANLEY CUP, FINALLY! WOWZA! Finally City of Glendale.. LORD STANLEY IS COMING TO YOU! ARIZONA COYOTES are your STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS! What a ride for the Coyotes this season, after losing in the Cup finals last season to the Maple Leafs, former Coyotes GM @Tanev said it was enough and wanted a fresh start, the Detroit Redwings took him into their front office in order to finally make a playoff push. With the Former GM gone, Arizona Coyotes looked at a familiar foe, they hired GM ZP, who originally was the Edmonton Oilers GM, but due to personal issues, he had to resign. With GM ZP familiar with the division opponents, he liked what the form GM did and made some minor acquistions. GM ZP analyzed the roster from top to bottom and realized the bottom six forward group needed a spark and he made the decision on what needs to be tweaked. GM ZP acquired Darien Lapoint, Viktor Feniak, Dominik Kubalik, Marcus Davdisson, Charles Alexis-Legault and signed UFA Goalie Phillip Grubauer. With these acquistions, the Coyotes looked deep on forward group now. The defence was still solid from last year as well. From the start of the season, Coyotes started off well and surprisingly his former team the Oilers, were battling it out for 1st place in the division. It was nice to see GM ZPs former team doing well and future success is on the horizon for the Oilers. The Coyotes prevailed and clinched the gross Pacific Division. The Coyotes first round opponent was Colorado Avalanche in which they dominated the series and won 4-1. Their second round opponent was GM ZPs former team, The Edmonton Oilers and for a revenge series Coyotes side swiped the Oilers for their GM and won the series 4-1 as well. With things going their way, they finally had a tough opponent vs the Winnipeg Jets in the WCF Finals. The Jets were coming off two series sweeps and they started to believe in themselves as well. This was the battle of the Old Jets vs New Jets as some were saying. With a hard fought series the Jets couldnt handle the Coyotes firepower and succombed to their fate, the Coyotes won the series 4-1 and were headed back to the Stanley Cup Finals for the second year in a row! This was it, The Stanley Cup finals back in Glendale Arizona, this time Arizona Coyotes and @inane Boston Bruins were going to battle it out. A lot of players knew what it would take to win the Lord Stanley this time around. Some players did not want to relive last years disaster again. The Coyotes jumped out to a 3-0 series lead lead by Dylan Wilkie who revived his career this season, scoring 8+pts in this series. The Bruins were bringing the fight to the Coyotes all series and got 1 win against the Coyotes with an assistance of “Cheesing” lead by @Patrick Kane due to some line juggling. But the bottom six players GM ZP acquired came through! The Cronie Line of Darien Lapoint, Viktor Feniak and Dave Gazdik were the difference makers in this series and in game 5 to win our 1st Stanley Cup in franchise history! Arizona Coyotes would like to thank Boston Bruins GM @inane for a well fought good series!
