    I read a lot of the NHL press and media saying Vancouver is a dead desired market, that it is so hard to get people to come here and that we shouldnt expect anyone ever again after Kuz. How in the world are fans not recognizing the insane magic that we got back to back biggest prizes out of the NHL and no one seems to understand what an insane job by the management or the power of Vancouver as a city remains around the NHL!

    Hope they all pan out then we can get Bedard at rfa.. I think our gm is saving up money... for 1 big pay day maybe McDavid he and his buddy is becoming Ufa pretty soon?

    This team wants to win badly... Petey, Kuzy, have been producing like mad, Demko, JT, are on fire right now.  Joshua, and Aman are playing really consistently and getting better every game.  All the Abby guys have been playing well above expected.  Delia is looking rested and solid.  Just wow!:shock:

     

    I predicted (tongue and cheek) when Demko got back... We may win out and.... Miss the playoffs by 1 point.

     

    Even if somehow, someway they make it?.... Is that a good thing, being the draft that it is???

    Yeah make it to post season and all our guys are all gased out. Next thing we lose in 4 games. Demko reinjures his lower body. Boeser has another hissy fit.  Petey changes his stick flex. Kuz eating apples instead of bananas.  10 game losing streak at the beginning of the season because the nhl gave us the toughest schedule. Back to square one fires the coach goes on a winning streak at end of season because we are playing easy teams,  recycle foe another 60 years!

    We can only control our own destiny.  If the hockey gods gave us lottery teams to play against and we do manage to win ALL our remaining games. Maybe we can go on a run, will that be something to talk about for years to come. Chicago won Boston! Now that's an eye opener.  Maybe now it's the other teams going on a cold steak. Now that we ARE the hottest team. Who can stop us if bubble demko plays elite. Maybe just maybe it's the right time to gel.? Just enjoy the ride and maybe we can pull a Bedard out of a hat.  It's a lotto we can move up 10 spots. Maybe the gods are calling our number for once..

    Yeah we had to many soft coaches! I think I'm starting to actually believe again. Or maybe this time around we really got nhl coaches instead of ahl assistants

    I honestly assumed with the roster they have here to close out the season that they would naturally play about .500 the rest of the year but Tocchet has them playing smart hockey. Bodes well for next season at least. 
     

    As an aside, I’m surprised how little I miss having Horvat on the team. Like, not at all. 

    When bo's  away the canucks don't look soft. I think there was a rift between Miller and bo.. now it's Miller time....

    Na petey will be captain. If the questions he doesn't like, he will do his Alian stare down....
