Something fishy about this league when the Canucks have a list of injuries the length of your arm every year for the last 5 in a row while teams like Washington, TB and Boston barely ever have any. Trump's Murica of winners.

Well, gee, that sounds like a problem that started with Obama, if you really feel that bringing "Orange Man Bad" into the discussion is in the remotest way edifying.

Well I am going to pretend I haven’t followed the Canucks for the past 30 years or so and NOT assume things are going to just fall apart as always

Demko is going to play lights out, which puts pressure on the Markstrom camp, meaning we get him a little cheaper.  Then we flip a suddenly more valuable Demko at the draft to shed Eriksson... and we can re-sign all our pending free agents.

I don't think it's a great plan to flip your Stanley Cup winning goaltender just to clear some cap...:bigblush:

4.25 million dollar back of pucks

    any more info required?

At least we've still got the Edler-Bieksa shutdown pairing. :emot-parrot:

  4. 1. What high horse? There's been two hockey riots here. This is a sad, undeniable fact. Even if you don't want to call them Canucks fans or not.

    2. Kesler and Burrows are both far more mature than Lucic, obviously. And smart enough to know how to avoid 4am sunday morning tustles.

    3. Lol. Threatened physical harm? Oh noes, Mary. Did you swing your purse around to fend them off? Frankly, i don't even believe you. As mentioned in posts prior, several teams' fanbases have actually carried on through with the physical harm. Like Boston Bruins fans for example attacking a woman TO fan. So no, Vancouver is not a singularity in this regard.

    4. Nobody's defending those actions taken on the church. So bringing it up over and over again is pointless. 'Canucks fans' didn't do it. Hooligans did. Know the difference.

    5. Lucic hasn't defended this city after 2011. If he has, can a link be provided? Honestly, I'm curious.

    6. I find these troll posts to be ignorant and repetitive, and are dodging what actually took place on Saturday, which was an arrogant drunk dude and another arrogant drunk dude getting into a spat at 4am on a sunday morning. Ho-freakin'-hum. But Lucic, if he had shown enough class and maturity, shouldn't have even been there.

Why am i bothering? Don't care what a Flames troll thinks anyhow.

point #3 sounds like that misogynist shoe-fetishist Millbury, and I know every Canuck fan's better than he is.

  5. Can already picture Marchand when he's older with his fat beer gut and big rat nose kissing his ring finger trying to impress ladies. All of them being like "who are you?", "you won one championship 20 years ago?" "who cares?"

It'll get annoying, but I'm guessing the matrons in his cell block are used to tuning annoyances like him out.

Either that, or he'll get his neck broken trying to grab an inviting piece of cheddar off of a springplate.

  6. Anyone else feel Reilly Smith should have gotten a penalty?

I thought his goal was fine but running into the goaltender afterwards shouldn't be acceptable at all.

Edit: Referring to the first Boston goal

Seeing the hit live, my honest first thought would be to drag him up and go "Thorton" on him.

Given a moment to think about it, though it would probably be ill advised, so I'd just ragdoll him instead.

  7. Rask may miss the game with the flu. Johnson is 6-1-0 though.

Bruins are missing McQuaid, Eriksson, Kelly, Hamilton and Paille due to injury and Thornton (obviously) due to suspension. All are replaced with AHLers who have been playing rather well (8-2-0 in the last 10 games).

Time off for good behaviour, and a personal apology from the Commish for the games he missed. Just enough time for him to grab a ticket out to BC.

It won't matter though, because Hank's going to bury him in Rask's net. (Also, Daniel's going to pound the rat like he did RNH)
