Flyers' Provorov refuses to wear Pride Night-themed warmup jersey
Who cares? He is entitled to have his own opinion and beliefs. If anything, I respect him even more because he stayed true to himself. He was respectful about it. The flyers didn't seem to have a big issue with it either. It's a non story.

Is there anywhere I can watch or listen to the conference? I know it's over now but I can't seem to find any links to watch the recorded conference.

I'm ok with this. Can't wait to see who the gm is going to be.

Wow! Chi gets a new coach and good 5-1! It's amazing what a coaching change can do!

So why is this on JB? This is on green and coaching staff. On paper we have a decent team. Multiple times I heard American play by play guys praising the Canucks roster and not understanding what's going on with them.

Green needs to go. I am so tired of watching the same game against every team.
It is like the groundhog day.
What coaches are available right now?

Green is a brutal coach. He constantly gets out coached.

juolevi showed nothing, your analysis is hilarious.
building and managing a team isn't a matter of scoring guys out of 100 like EA sports and putting together the 23 guys with the highest scores you can afford. it's managing a group of 23 individual human beings, 23 different personalities and however many hundreds of individual relationships that results in. if having reaves and tinordi in the lineup allows your top players to play with freedom and confidence and swagger that they wouldn't otherwise have with a guy like kravtsov in the lineup, than kravtsov has to bring enough offensively to make up for that difference or beat out a guy in the top 6 for an offensive role.
Yes, thank you. I am fully aware on how team sports work.
Tampa Bay didn't need any goons like Reaves and Tinordi to win the Stanley cup.
You talk about freedom for players to play when those two are on the bench? Vegas barely played Reaves in the playoffs when it counted. Those are not 2 way players that contribute. I agree that you need responsible players and different types of players to build a team but no way in hell I pick those 2 over Kravtsov.
Again, if Kravtsov was waiver eligible he would of made the team! Plain and simple.

based on canucks fans responses. juolevi and gadjovich should have been on the team.
coaches and managers aren't in the business of making their teams worse, especially a team like the rangers who just went through a complete regime change because their owner is impatient for results.
Juolevi 100 precent should of been on the team and was treated unfairly.
You want to tell me that reaves and Tinordi are better than him? The only reason they are even on the team is because they are so terrified of Wilson.

determined to play in the nhl, but not determined to earn it.
How do you know that he didn't earn it? Based on rangers fans responses he actually had a decent camp.
There are players that made the team who showed way less. He most likely didn't make the roster because he is waiver exempt.

Petan earned his spot. As much as I don't believe he will maintain his usefulness to us, it was still earned. I also get the sense he just wants to play.
Kravtsov, on the other hand, seems entitled. He seems like a Jake Virtanen type who has lots of skill, but doesn't appreciate the effort and dedication required to be an NHL regular. We certainly don't need that kind of player on our team again.
The rangers are so scared of Wilson that they wasted two roster spots on two goons instead of Kravtsov.
Again, if you don't agree with your employer's decision based on your career aspirations you go and look for a new job. It's no different with hockey.

Why wouldn't they? They come to another country to play at the highest level. Why would they report to an AHL team if they can play in the KHL making more money and playing in their home country? The fact that he is seeking a trade means he is determined to play in the NHL. I think a team should trade for him to give him a fair chance. It's a low risk move.

I wonder why it takes so long to publish the return.

Petrovic is interesting. The other name that is interesting is Brooks from Toronto.

Its more of a system and structure problem. The entire coaching staff has no idea what the plan is, how to deploy players property, and how to play players to their strengths. Green is trying to convert players into players that will work in his system rather than change the system that will work for the players.

I really hope that we start the season 0-6 and Green gets let go.
He is a coach with no real direction. His player evaluation is completely off. I feel like he was given credit for developing young players in the AHL, however now I am starting to think that it was because he had no other choice but to play younger players.
This team needs new leadership behind the bench. It just feels like players say what we expect them to say but none of them really look happy to be here.

Quinn should get no more that 6.5 MAX until he proves he can defend. If he wants 8 or 9 then he can go play with his brothers
Hoenstly, I know this take might not be a popular one but I agree with you.

Jets fan happy he’s gone. Don’t like this at all. A bit too long for a guy not proven. Only played because half thei jets dmen was out
Who cared what they think. The term is a year longer than I would of liked but in that time he can improve a lot. He was not used to playing those heavy top 4 minutes and it showed. I feel like with what we expect his assignments to be he will be more than fine.

The D is getting crowded for our young guys.

Don't forget that there is no trade protection which comes at a price as well. Overall I think it's a good deal.

100 precent not over payment! Great deal for both sides.
