The Super Bowl will be decided by the team with the best defense today.  Philadelphia has a better defense but New England is no slouch in that department either.

When it comes to offensive,  NE has a wide edge with a superior QB in Brady and his favourite receiver, Gronkowski.   Foles, while a capable backup, is certainly no future Hall of Fame quarterback.

So, the only chance for the Eagles to win is to stop Tom Brady the way Denver Broncos did with NE a few years ago when they beat NE in the SB.

The game need to be a low scoring effort for the Eagles to win, otherwise the high powered offense of NE will overwhelm Philly.

I expect the game to be decided by less than 10 points, whoever wins the game.

Giant's and Denver beat the Pat's with a nasty inside pass rush, i expect the Eagles will try the same thing.

    I confess -

It's Friday night, and I am sitting around in my pajamas with the cat beside me watching Will and Grace, and working on my quilt, and drinking champagne.  What has my life come to?! :) haha. And it's Will and Grace from 1998, and I remember watching it in 1998!  And my quilt, I am hand sewing it and with paper backing.  It's a nice crafty little project.  Think of it as a bunch of these little pieces!

Loos like the Leafs and Habs colours.

It's safe to say he'll be money in the shoot out for us no matter what happens.

lets hope so, he will be up against NHL tenders tho. Lots of times those trick moves go nowhere against the best between the pipes.

I like your optimism but that is a little rich for me quite honestly.

I don't like the Eagles corners at all and in a division stacked with great wide receivers that is very concerning.

Who knows how good Rasul Douglas will be and how much he plays, Jalen Mills too, and then you have Patrick Robinson a 30 year old former first round bust just trying to keep his career going with his third team in like 5 years.

Sidney Jones might be redshirted the whole year. They need a surprise guy like Aaron Grymes or Myles White to come in from the CFL and be solid at CB to have a chance at that record.

Wentz also has to be much improved this year and show progress or else nothing else will matter.

Eagles would have to be incredibly lucky to stay healthy to have that record or another team run into injury and suspensions like the Cowboys and Redskins for that to happen.

Then again Ezekiel Elliot could miss the first 4 games of the season... which could affect the balance of power early on.

It will be interesting to see the matchup game in the division against the Giant's passing game..Beckham,Marshall,Sharpe and the rookie Engram down the middle.

A hell of a shot': Sniper record latest example of deadly Canadian marksmanship

Joint Task Force 2 member hit ISIS militant at a distance of 3,540 metres, military confirms

A Canadian special forces sniper just abolished a world record for the longest-ever successful shot on record. In Iraq, the sniper hit an ISIS militant from more than 2 miles away, with the bullet flying in the air under 10 seconds before hitting its target.

Canucks are good shooters 3 in the top 5.

Today's the day! Get your complaining shoes on. So my prediction is Makar gets selected before our pick, Benning visibly disappointed he's selected and he passes on Vilardi and takes Pettersson. Draft day!!!

Would be interesting to see the reaction of the fan base if Vilardi,Glass,Middlestat are sitting at 5 and Benning trades down to get Petterson.

Wanna see that Canucks get another first round pick in the range 10 - 20 to pick Liljegren. He is a true PP QB & a RHD. That's exactly the type of player Jim is looking for.

Don't care if Jim packages #33 & #55 or sends the #55 along with either Hutton or Sbisa to get that additional first round pick. I think Liljegren would be worth it. Jim spoke

very highly of Liljegren. Therefore I guess that Jim is still trying to work out a trade to get another first round pick.

I would take Makar over Liljegren as some have questioned Lilje's iq somewhat.
