    I don’t agree at all.

Sometimes players get buried especially on deep teams like Tampa.

That’s like saying Miller could never be a top 6 player cause he couldn’t crack the top 6 in Tampa.

Correct. Just because his father coached him growing up doesn’t mean he has or will stop learning from him and the others. He’s also on a deep Tampa Bay team which has resulted in him not getting the playing time needed to help with his development.

I wouldn’t give up on him and say he’s destined to be a number 7 D. Let’s also remember that defensemen do take a bit longer to develop.

I still can’t believe Demko is even coming up as a deadline name. We’d be so dumb. Kings would have to send a crazy haul for us to even consider moving Demko. I’d be upset if we move him.

Would it be so dumb? If we did get back a “crazy haul,” and then sign the likes of a Tristan Jarry next season… I think would be a great move forward for this team.

I want someone that is currently in the NHL, has a strong familiarity with the current NHL landscape, and is working alongside a current highly successful NHL GM here in North America. That's why I want MacFarland.........or maybe even Carolina's AssGM

What are you talking about? Allvin is all of that, to a T.

It's strange to think there was even a bit of a debate whether he should start in Utica.

That list has the best-of-the-best Swedes ever, and he's currently topping the list. He's only played 9 games (6-3), and he's already a star.  I wonder how great he'll actually become once he has an elite LWer on his line and 10 lbs of additional muscle. I think he's our best hope at a Cup. He's so determined to win, he'll make that happen. Many were picking the Canucks to finish in the bottom 3 again, but now that everyone is becoming aware of Pettersson and seeing what he can do, there`s actually talk of possible playoffs, if he can stay healthy. Imagine when Hughes gets here and feeds Pettersson the puck all game. Having Boeser as a scoring weapon makes that line pretty deadly already. I`m just not sold on Goldobin yet.

I agree with you on Goldy. I really want him to pan out though. He seems to have developed a friendship off the ice with Petey. Makes me want it to work out that much more.
