Glad you enjoyed them. There will be more to come. Im buying gear in dec and starting hockey classes next year with a mix of public and private lessons between now and then. Even after joining a rec league im sure ill have plenty of interesting things to write about. Likely it will be the young "whipper-snappers" making a pancake outta me on the boards!

Yeah, 7 to 8 dollars is the going rate in my area, but sessions are about 4 hours.

We do have "sticktime" in my area, but im really focusing on the skating basics as I can join an "Adult Introductory Hockey" group class. Just have to be able to go forward and backwards with crossovers and transitions. Funny it doesnt mention stopping. heh.

Yes, intro hockey instruction is on the horizon, but they wont let me in until I
1) have full gear, which i will be getting through dec and jan.
2) am able to go forward and backward with crossovers and transitions.
These things have become my main focus atm and i intend to just skate once or twice a week (no instruction because schedules arent working out) until i get these few things figured out. As far as my foot pain goes, im not thinking its the boot size thats bothering me, after taking out the insole all together it felt a bit better so if anything ill actually be needing a wider/flatter boot. too bad, i love the look of my skate (which is already in a wide size).
