    I have watched quite a few of these top players extensively, and you may have seen my six-game comprehensive scouting packages of Nolan Patrick and Gabriel Vilardi.

     

    I plan to release a Cody Glass package rather soon. You will have an opportunity to watch every shift of his from six games this season. Don't expect too much from this player, or you may be disappointed.

    who do you have rated as your 3 to 5? agreed i'm not really buying all the cody glass hype.

    That is a strange roster. Lot of odd inclusions and exclusions to my eyes.

    There are 2 squads for development camp. First squad played yesterday with some rotations for the game today. Some notable players included Lazar, Perlini, Reinhart, Ritchie, Fleury, Morin, Nurse, Bennett, Ekblad.

    Interesting insight. At the beginning of the video when the runner came up and told Benning "I'll bring you whichever jersey you tell me to bring you" "We'll see what he does here, alright?" (Referring to the fact that NYI haven't picked yet). Interesting to see that Benning says "Virtanen" right away even though, at the time, Dal Colle was still a possible pick..

    This guy has ZERO NHL experience. How is this a good move for us right now?

    First off, that is incorrect. He was an associate coach for 2 years with the Stars. Secondly, Where do you think all NHL coaches started? I'd rather have someone with a fresh vision than the same old recycled NHL coaches.

    Why do we want any late first round picks? (All those wanting to trade Kesler) This drafts been said to be weak, and next years is said to be the best in a long long time.

    Just because there is no real "clear cut" #1 player. This draft is actually pretty good. Benning said so himself... and I trust his word more than any media outlet saying otherwise.

    if florida is bent on drafting ehlers, than 6th pick would make the most sense....therefore it would take or sixth pick and a prospect...maybe corrado....unless they would like hansen to take ehlers under his wing...it could happen.....

    It definitely could happen. It's not always necessarily about how much is offered but how well it fits with both teams. Toronto is offering way more but the two players the Panthers are rumoured to want (Nylander and Ehlers) will mostly likely be gone by the 8th pick. The 6th pick is perfect for them.

    If benning really wants someone, he finds a way to get it done. Look at Alex Khokhlachev for example.

    I listened to an interview with the head guy from the ISS on team 1040..He thinks that 2,maybe 3 from this draft will possibly be able to play in the NHL this season..(Ekblad being one of them) the rest will be back in junior or minors..

    Benning shows 14/48 making NHL in Boston, and 33/66 in buffalo.... What was delorme and giilis draft records?

    Players who have stayed in the NHL (not including a call-up for a few games)? Cody Hodgson, Jordan Schroeder, Nicklas Jensen, Frank Corrado. (not going to include Tanev because he wasn't drafted)

    Very, very weak drafting. Last year has been the only year where it has looked promising, so far. (Horvat, Shinkaruk, Cassels, Subban, Cederholm)
