    WE HAVE TRADED THE BEST GOALTENDER AND THE BEST BACKUP WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!!

    I hate Gillis so much.... so very much right now..

    I actually miss Nonis..

    When they fired Nonis years ago, i came on the cdc and was so upset, everyone thought i was a cry baby. I just don't "get" Gillis. I know these guys might be good prospects, but trading real talent for potential talent is risky. le sigh.

    Tortorella is a ego-maniac, if he can get attention he will do it, thus this weird Luongo thing. I would go so far as to say Torts is a narcisistic socio-path. (google it he fits the definition: they view people as tools or a means to an end.)

    Don't be surprized the next time he goes into the other teams dressing room in a rage, it's totally in keeping with this disorder.

    Burrows? Do We Really Need Him?

    As much as I love this guy, and his work ethic is unbelievable, I am now for the first time ever considering it may be a good time to look at possibly moving Burrows. The reason I'm saying this now, is because he is now 32, will be turning 33 next year, but his value is the highest it will ever be right now.

    The success he has had with the Sedins has made him who he is now, don't forget this guy was a non drafted player, who was never known for his offensive talent, he was a hard working grinder type of player. The Sedins were able to make Burrows into a differen't type of player, if Burrows never played with the Sedins trust me he would of never registered as many points as he has.

    I just don't see this guy holding much value for say a top 6 point producer in the near future, as hard as it is to imagine with no Burrows on this team, it would be like Linden all over again. We remember how that worked out, Bertuzzi for Linden, now who knows what we could get for Burrows, but this season is the best time to find that out.

    why on earth trade the only good priced acquisition this team has -- everything burrows offers is a bonus -- if you want production then you have to consider moving higher paid players that are getting old.
