Who is the source?

Breaking News: I have been told the #Canucks have a deal in place with the #Panthers for the first overall pick.

NOTE:
Richard Cloutier seems to be a legit reporter out of EDM followed by TSN 1200, Josh Rimer, Cam Tucker, DobberHockey, Jonathan Willis, David Staples, and 630CHED. Take it for what it's worth, hence why this is labeled as a "Rumor".

My big issue would be that Markstrom would have to go through waivers. Don't think we should let him go for nothing.
I thought they can send players down during the offseason?

Have learned the #Canucks have called the agent for UFA goalie Ryan Miller. Can't imagine Eddie Lack will be happy.

Sources tell me, Miller would have no issues playing in Vancouver.

On 1040 am this morning, Linden said that he hasn't even spoken to Willie in person ... and now he's being offered a multi-year deal? Really?
He lied about his presidency as well

Hmm
Booth was improving finally. Why now?
Prepare for tank mode. The Canucks aren't in a position to attract free agents. So the cap space means little.
Maybe JB has started the process of chopping heads and going full rebuild.
Hank and Dank don't want to be traded right now, as they feel they can win, but a couple more moves to gut this team and they might change their tune.
It's a double edged sword right now. They either have to give up a lot of prospects and picks to get EK and try to compete, or go all in on a rebuild.
I'm betting JB has decided a retool is too far too reach.
because this is the last compliance buyout window

Some believe Benning is getting the Canucks job and Linden is simply waiting until the conclusion of round 2 to make it official.Hearing Boston's Jim Benning met with the Canucks yesterday. He's considered the frontrunner for the GM job in Van.

#Canucks - Have tried a few times and Jim Benning not answering his cell phone. #somethingup

"Can I name a player who played with heart?"
Sure can. Kesler + Bieksa.
not sure I would put Kesler in the same level as Bieksa anymore. As soon as Ish hits the fan the guy wants out. Bieksa on the other hand... he's going down with the ship as he put it.

wow. When 2 coaches are fired in 2 years it is clearly not a coaching issue.
atleast it was done by two management groups. we can hang our hat on that.

I'm not sure why other than a quick bandaid solution to get season ticket holders back?
If things go south how will that effect his businesses? He should be eased into this.
