#Canucks Henrik and Hamhuis are out versus #canadiens. Richardson, Higgins are in. Henrik will not play Saturday versus #leafs either.
"It's always fun to play here and this is a huge game for our club. I'm worried about playing my game and helping us win." - Luongo
Based on warm-up, @VanCanucks are going like this vs @CanadiensMTL F: 22-45-14/20-17-36/7-15-9/29-21-44 D: 23-24/18-5/47-26 Luongo starts.

lets win one for Diaz

#Canucks have acquired defenceman Raphael Diaz from Montreal in exchange for Dale Weise. Formal announcement to follow.
Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun
Habs and Canucks trade: Diaz for Weise. A little brawn for the Canadiens, while Van gets puck-moving D
Harrison Mooney @HarrisonMooney
Diaz is a righty, which solves a big problem for the Canucks right now.

EDM could also be another entertaining physical game

Who is Renaud Lavoie...?
So much so I'd call this speculation over a report.
i'm pretty sure anyone could have have guessed that
That sounds like an Eklund trade rumour. Pretty much everyone in the world has predicted a suspension of 3-10 games, this guy is not an insider, he is just pulling numbers out of his butt.
He knows his stuff. Gets it right everytime

Expect the NHL to announce the John Tortorella suspension soon. Only details that I've got: between 3 and 10 games. #canucks
#Canucks coach John Tortorella has been suspended for 15 days. #Flames coach Bob Hartley fined $25,000.

im glad for you people who need to blame the refs..... it was really close but sure enough when the game was well out of hand at 7-1 the refs hit us with some penalties enough for you to forget about how bad our team is and blame it on the refs once again...
who's blaming the whole game on the refs? get off your high horse. what are the chances you see that many 7 min PP's in the same game, at the same time, to the same team, on two different nights?
get a freaking clue. we all watched the game and we all know what went down. team played like crap against the leagues best team with top canucks players out but for the refs to completely demolish the smallest of chances canucks had to score any goals..

The earliest he can return is tomorrow, but if not Monday for sure.
He said today that he hasn't been cleared to play yet. I think he'd ease himself into playing once be does get the clearance?

3-2 Blues tie it last minute to go to OT and win it in shootout.

"As stretch runs go, this one is going to be completely different for the Vancouver Canucks.
Instead of chasing the Presidents' Trophy or a conference or divisional title, the Canucks face a 22-game battle for their playoff lives when they get back to playing games next week.
The 11 healthy non-Olympian Canucks who returned to work late Wednesday afternoon realize there is a lot on the line."
Source
"NHL team executives are following these Olympic hockey games a little differently than the rest of us. For example, when Canucks assistant GM Laurence Gilman got word that Ryan Kesler went down in pain after blocking an Ilya Kovalchuk shot with his hand during Saturday's thriller between the U.S. and Russia, his mind immediately started racing."
Source
"If the Canucks can survive this tournament without any significant injuries, they will immediately become one of the most fascinating teams to watch coming out of the break. Their losing streak dropped them outside a playoff position, where they currently sit one point behind the Dallas Stars in the final wild-card spot, although Dallas has two games in hand."
Source
"There is no indication, none whatsoever, that the Vancouver Canucks have any intention of doing anything other than aggressively contending for the Stanley Cup this season."
Source
"Backes has been one of the top scorers for the U.S. with three goals and an assist in four games, while Oshie's shootout performance to beat the Russians has become a legend unto itself."
Source
"Oshie scored four times in six attempts to give the Americans a shootout victory."
Source
"Not that everything has gone swimmingly for the Olympic Blues. Goaltender Jaroslav Halak played poorly before being benched by Latvia. Forward Vladimir Tarasenko was a member of an uptight, underachieving Russian team that got bounced by Finland in the quarterfinals."
Source
"The Blues have been involved in both of these rumors for the better part of a year with their goaltending as Ryan Miller has been the supposed next starting goalie to be donning the blue and yellow uniform."
Source
"Western Conf teams suggest the Rangers are gathering intel on Chris Stewart. Callahan for Stewart would be a sweet deal for the Blues."
