  3. Thomas Vanek? You're daft....Snow will be attempting to do everything to recoup losses made during the initial trade meaning he will overprice him. Our first should be untouchable as that future D or RW we need will be available and we are NOT renting.

Vanek is going to end up in Minnesota no matter what. Gods what a stupid idea. How does Gallagher even have a credible job still?

Wait, people still consider Gallagher credible?!

  4. Homer Deb will not abandon her team and is in this for the long haul. I remind people that I saw my Lions lose 6/7 games (about 1/3 of the season) in 2011 (?) and they then went on to win the GC. People laughed that I was still on board halfway through that season...wrote it off.

I am fully aware of the issues that we're having and that an aging core is slowing down and has been figured out in a predictable way. I also see a lack of go for the throat urgency that may or may not kick in...but, if it does, I think they're still fully capable. They have to want it as badly as we do and with them seemingly in conservation mode at times, we should at least have something in the tank for playoffs. I've seen this team die trying to get there (on top)...so pacing themselves isn't a bad thing. But complacency is.

    Go Canucks Go!

WHAT SHE SAID. GO CANUCKS GO

Coming off a 5-4 OT win against their Pacific Division rivals the Phoenix Coyotes, the Canucks will look to win their 4th game in their last 5 contests. It was Kevin Bieksa who played hero Sunday night, as he buried his 2nd goal of the night past Mike Smith just 2 minutes and 15 seconds into OT.

The last time the Canucks and Oilers met, it was Vancouver walking away with the victory as they handed the Oilers a 2-1 loss with Zack Kassian scoring the winner.

The projected line ups are :

    VANCOUVER CANCKS

    Sedin - Kesler - Burrows

    Higgins - Dalpe - Hansen

    Schroeder - Richardson - Kassian

    Sestito - Lain - Weber

    Hamhuis - Tanev

    Garrison - Edler

    Bieksa - Stanton

    Luongo

    EDMONTON OILERS

    Hall - RNH - Eberle

    Smyth - Gagner - Perron

    Hendricks - Gordon - Jones

    Yakupov - Arcobello - Joensuu

    N. Schultz? - J. Schultz

    Potter - Petry

    Belov - Marincin

    Bryzgalov

    Highlights of last game :

    Prediction : 4-0 Canucks!

    Sedin

    Kesler

    Hamhuis

    Shredder

EDIT : Please let Burrows score
