    What a depressing time for us all. Ray Ferriero is in disscussions im hearing involiving replacments for gillis. What a freaking upgrade that would be.

      I meant Ferraro would be a great replacement for Gillis as far as i am concerned. I guess i should've said "discussions I'm *having"

      Indeed. Any canucks fan who's lived through those dark, dark times(dare i say his name?) would rather live in a realistic world, where my expectations aren't crushed everyday. That and i happen to possess a calculator, and call it magic, but this things says we can't afford em'!!

      Doan's the only realistic player we can acquire this summer IMO

      And even if we had the cap space, i don't think weber would sign here, and edler's on his way, so no complaints there.

      And rick nash isn't going anywhere unless someone's willing to give up their franchises entire future for one or two stanley cups.

      I'm waiting for doan's decision to be honest. It's just the only 'canucks signing' rumor that has at least a shred of credibili...

      Most definitely. I mean the whole thing has been snowballing since around the trade deadline last year.

      He's still amazing, and easily one of the best defensmen in the game today, but i agree. I think he gets a little more attention than he should.
