Vancouver_Canucks Posted May 4, 2007 Share Posted May 4, 2007 This team overachieved so much and this was to be a semi rebuilding year with a shiet load of changes. We should be very proud of the boys since the start of the season and sticking together as a team. Great job Nonis, you did something that took Burke 4 playoff years to do which was get a 1st round win. Great job by the medical trainers, coaches, equipment people and anyone involved daily in the Canucks organization. Great job by the players, put up a great fight with a bunch of injuries and injured. The series was pretty close and we never got embarrassed. Most of all I would love the chance to buy Luongo a dinner just for everything he has done for this city. THis guy is a real class act, competitor and player/person. 2006/2007= a lot of broken records and franchise records for the team and certain individuals. It was nice to see a team limited on skill win through team work and a great work ethic. Everyone played a role and everyone were equal. This team will only get better, this team future is pretty bright with our recent drafting record, Luongo entering his prime years as a goalie and players better adjusted to the new system and coaching staff.
