One piece away....

Last summer I expected going into the season the same type of year with maybe a bit less success. They were extremely fortunate and it tooka lot to win 49 games and get to the second round of the playoffs with the team we had. I was thinking maybe 96 points and maybe squeek into the second round and have all over-paid deals over this summer. Well now that we've missed the playoffs doesn't that change the perspective. I was think we get Nazzy back for 3.5-4m and Mo back for 2 and go on to sign the best offensive force out there, Marian Hossa. Then we'd have the Sedins and they can do there thing with Pyatt and Hossa would make Mo and Nazzy better. That makes a good offence, good defence and amazing goaltending. Now that we've missed the playoffs entirely, boy does it change things. Everyone wants big changes and I don't blame'em. I do also believe it's time to move on with Mo and Nazzy. But wouldn't that make a good team keeping them and signing Hossa?
