  1. Linus Karlsson now has 5 points (2g, 3a) from 8 games and is on a 4 game point streak in the Allsvenskan
  2. Linus Karlsson has started his season. 1 goal after 3 games played His goal was an empty netter which can be seen in the video within the article here...starts around 2.25 https://www.khk.se/gamecenter/qWX-8BWldB5Zv/articles/post
  3. Not sure if this has been posted further up but for those interested in a daily podcast from the world championships then try this out: The totally ice hockey show https://audioboom.com/channels/4993402 https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-totally-ice-hockey-show/id1461188077 Presented by James Richardson (formerly of gazzetta football italia for anyone aware of the show who incidentally does a cracking football podcast called the totally football podcast) It's a good show - feels targeted at newer fans but it has a host of European and North American hockey writers/broadcasters on the panel. I think the rest day episode will have an interview with Igor Larionov.
  4. I wonder whether the team that was going to sneak in was the Rangers in the event the Canucks and Golden Knights trade went through...mainly because the draft video showed the nerves that the rangers were keen on EP... for example VAN give VGK 5th VGK give Canucks 6th + 62nd (which they had from pit via carolina) NYR Give VGK 7th in exchange for 5th + 2018 2nd rounder or 21st overall (or some other piece as NYR didn't have a 2nd rounder in 2017) Whoever was after him or whatever it looked like I am quite glad we didn't risk it...
  5. Canucks Predictions Goldy leads team in goals scored through until December. Ends with 25. Brock starts slow but ends with 30 Puck Luck sees the team win the home opener against the flames. A high point as we miss the playoffs and finish with the 5th worst record in the league Elias scores at a regular rate and tops 60 points. Misses out on Calder Bo leads team in scoring with a 70 point season MDZ, Edler and Gagner traded during season for underwhelming returns centered mainly around "B" prospects Dahlen, Juolevi and Gaudette each play 30+ games for the Canucks Rest of NHL Surprise teams to miss playoffs - Sharks, Predators and Lightning Surprise teams to make playoffs - Sabres, Coyotes, Canadiens Calder - Mittelstadt (matches EP for points but gets playoff boost)
