Exactly, rail is a permanent solution. Large scale bus routes are patchwork at best and never really totally solve the main issue at hand

Why don't they just build a giant escalator going up from the skytrain. Have like 5 in case one breaks down

I know this isn't rapid transit related but does anyone have a mock up of what highway 1 will look like in 2 years when its done? I'm talking about all the construction around willingdon/kensington turnoffs around 8 rinks and costco.

Skytrain stations should have those bus stop times, so that when I get off the train I can decide whether or not to run down the stairs for the bus

Yeah I agree, I have the philosophy that if we aren't doing it right, why should we then award ourselves a contract when the deal is way better outside the country. It's sorta like your mom buying you ice cream even though you failed your test.

But how much of the engine is rebuilt? But if the bus engine lasts 15 years after being used everyday, how come car manufacturers make cars that last just as long? And when you say our buses, do other buses not have self loosening screws?

The engines would explain the abnormally high levels of heat on a day where it's 6 degrees outside.

Is it just me or is the ventilation on the canada line trains way worse than the others.

I never thought of it that way but it's so true. Except mom's never think they should be punished for what their child is doing. On my bus last week the driver told the mom to stop the kid from screaming and all she did was shake a rattle.

But it's a t shirt. Today at oakridge I saw people taking pictures beside the mac logo like it was a monument for tourists like OMG leaning tower of pisa! I don't go to GM place and take pictures of me beside the canucks logo, I go beside the dressing room. I don't go to Rome and take a picture beside a bottle of european coke I go to the coliseum

I love my Upass and use it everyday. And besides, they have pictures on them.
