  1. Burrows? Do We Really Need Him?

Burr has been looking a little lost out there, but it's only two games in and such a long time off. Give it time. His time with the Sedins might be over, but that won't stop him. He was putting up points last year on the third line with Pahlsson and Hansen, and he put up points when he went to the International Hockey Tournament too. Definitely doesn't need the Sedins to elevate his game.
  2. Canucks Memes

I thought EA released some patch notes saying that Toronto being able to make the playoffs is a confirmed bug and they are working on fixing that?
  3. Burrows? Do We Really Need Him?

    I'll drink to that, Deb!
  4. Canucks Memes

    Yeah? Cool story.
  5. That's funny, I was actually using Pittsburgh as a metric to keep myself positive. We both went down 3-0, and then bumped up to 3-1. I kept saying "If Pittsburgh can bounce back from their embaressment, we can too. We were playing way better than they were." I thought that we were at least going to bring it up to 4-2 like they did, but I didn't realize that we were just mimicking whatever they did earlier in the day. Odd coincidence.
  6. Linden For Gm

This. I think the fact that he doesn't have any kind of job with the organization shows that he's probably not interested in it. If he were, he probably would be welcomed with open arms.
  7. Linden For Gm

I get that Trevor is still very invested in the Canucks community and loves the city of Vancouver and its team, but I'm honestly not sure he'd want the job.
  8. Burrows? Do We Really Need Him?

Just wanted to point out that Burrows pulled ahead of Linden in SHG with the Canucks, and is only 8 behind Bure. Those are some lofty names, and Shorthanded goals aren't exactly easy to come across. I can't imagine Burrows going anywhere after the Canucks took such a big chance with him, and he's repaying them by becoming a legend for the team. Let's not even wait for him to retire, #14 to the rafters, if he doesn't deserve it yet, he will by the time he's done playing here.
