Lets be real raymond plus luongo wont cut it.

To Fla:
Luongo
Raymond
Tanev

To Van:
Bjugstad/Gubranson (Bjugstad is pretty huge, and he would be like a kassian but better, and he shoots right, so he can play right wing. Gubranson-if hes avaialble and he hits!
Mike Santorelli or Marcel Goc type of player!
3rd round pick

With the extra cap Canucks could sign in my thinking (what we need):
Andrei Kostitsyn- Right Winger- who can score and got some good assists last year- would be perfect for kesler.

Sign a dece backup for schneider for a mortal-Dan Ellis- or Lack- $1M

With the saved up cap we could save for trade deadline or edlers/burrows contract next year!
heres the line up:
CAPGEEK.COM USER GENERATED ROSTER
My Custom Lineup

FORWARDS
Daniel Sedin ($6.100m) / Henrik Sedin ($6.100m) / Alexandre Burrows ($2.000m)
David Booth ($4.250m) / Ryan Kesler ($5.000m) / Andrei Kostitsyn ($3.500m)
Chris Higgins ($1.900m) / Mike Santorelli ($1.600m) / Zack Kassian ($0.870m)
Aaron Volpatti ($0.600m) / Maxim Lapierre ($1.000m) / Jannik Hansen ($1.350m)
Manny Malhotra ($2.500m) /
DEFENSEMEN
Dan Hamhuis ($4.500m) / Alexander Edler ($3.250m)
Kevin Bieksa ($4.600m) / Jason Garrison ($4.600m)
Keith Ballard ($4.200m) / Erik Gudbranson ($3.200m)
GOALTENDERS
Cory Schneider ($4.000m)
Eddie Lack ($1.000m)
------
CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS (follow @capgeek on Twitter)
(these totals are compiled without the bonus cushion)
SALARY CAP: $70,200,000; CAP PAYROLL: $66,120,000; BONUSES: $2,300,000
CAP SPACE (21-man roster): $4,080,000
THIS IS JUST TO SHOW THE ROSTER NOT ACTUAL LINES,,K! GOOD.

Florida would be happy- because they basically got a chance in the playoffs, and got another decent defense man, and a potential top 6-top 9 forward.

Vancouver- is happy, because, they freed cap space, got rid of raymond(For the fans:)), and signed a prospect, and a Duncan Keith Killer, LOL.

Any changes, please tell me, Dont say "No, Not a chance, why would they do this,"
say something like this" Umm.. add ...................... in there and it should be fair,"
and if people agree ill change the thread.
Thanks

Forgot to add, IMO Kassian could use another year in the AHL for goal scoring/ working on himself!

If we wanted Parros, we would have tried to sign Parros.

Hey man , In my opinion , the most frustrating thing is that lots of people make amazing proposals but its like how is gillis going to think exactley this or that , unless he comes on CDC he wont know , you know? because some of these have to be very specific and precise and its basically like he would have to come on here himself and read what we think

Lets be more realistic, Tallon's not taking back Ballard's contract.

Let's be realistic once again, Florida's not going to trade Parros after they just signed him.

Parros isn't a fair return because the guy can't play hockey.

Parros and Jurcina are both plugs. Don't want them anywhere close to this team. And Tallon's not going to trade a player he just signed.

Both are true....

When the title says realistic trade i expect a realistic trade! ;) jk lol

The proposal itself is not bad but we are overpaying a tad and i dont really want Clark or Jurcina even though they would provide depth on d.... also both Tanev and Gudbranson play on the right side so there could potentially be problems there getting both into the lineup.

I would love to get Gudbranson but if Tallon is interested in Luongo (which I sort of doubt he is due to Theodore right now and Markstrom coming up), then it only makes sense for Markstrom to be the young player coming back in return. He will backup Schneider for a couple years

Unless Manny brings it back, dump him. We can't afford 2.5 for a fifth center. Also sign Kostitsyn at less and sign Doan

Sedin-Sedin-Doan
Booth-Kesler-Kostitsyn (I would prefer Versteeg)
Higgins-Goc/Santiorelli-Burrows
Hansen-Lapierre-Kassian

Hamhuis-Bieksa
Garrison-Edler
Ballard-Gudbranson

If Ballard can turn it around, we probably have the best defense in the league.

:picard: sarcasm???

They have already 2 NHL goalie and had their best season in the last decade with Theodore between the pipe. More success than they ever had with Luongo or Vokoun.

And they have one of the best goalie prospect in the world with Markstrom.

Without Luongo Florida have Theodore, Clemmensen and Marstrom.

Without Luongo Vancouver have a Schneider and a goalie with no NHL experience in Lack.

Bottom line: Vancouver need Luongo more than Florida.
