btw, the worst, is when you want to add years to your offer. Because the offer doesn't move up. So, if I go from offering Elliott 1 year at 900 to 8 years at 2.75m, I have to put up with the slow, slow, so very slow increases in Salary where it freezes every few seconds to process the complicated feature of adding 50K to an offer.

I would never do that. I'd trade any player on their last year if they expect me to give them 10+ million.

Enjoy never having an elite player then. Huberdeau will ask it if he keeps progressing. The only deals on contracts are long term deals that we in the game before we bought it, like Crosby. Anyone over 88 I fully expect to ask 10m going forwards.

Don't think so. He's coming off his first contract, so I can probably sign him for 8 years at 8 million per. if he wants 10 plus I'll sign him for one year and ship his a$$ out of town. Pittsburgh has 4 elite players (90+) and it hasn't really paid off for him (no offence) so I really couldn't care less about "elite" players.
