thejazz97
This hurts... SJ laughs and says no. STL laughs and says yes. And then laughs. And laughs. And laughs. If we signed Ward, it would be for one year (and quite frankly, I'd rather have Boedker if he chooses not to re-sign) If we signed Franson, we wouldn't. It's not a good deal for us unless we move at least three defensemen. Good try, though. You're getting closer than the last one.

tyhee
1. Might I suggest adding up the Canucks' cap hit for a 23 man roster after your proposals? The Canucks will be over any reasonable cap projection. 2. I realize his salary has dropped by about half since he passed through waivers a few months ago and he performed, at age 24, well for the Chicago Wolves in the AHL late this season, but is there much reason to think Paajarvi won't be available on waivers again in a few months? Has he really gone from passing through waivers to being worth a 2nd rounder? If Benning was high on him, perhaps he'd have claimed him (Canucks could afford his salary this past season) and not bothered claiming someone (McMIllan) whose ceiling is as a depth forward.
