Thanks fore the post. First thing I noticed was his lateral movement. Uses his size and momentum to his advantage to get better position. On another note, i also noted him paired with former NHLer Sami Lepisto at 1:20. A veteran guy that can give him pointers about the game. I like seeing that.

His defensive game is great. Skates with confidence and stays in position. Would like to see him work on his zone entry though. His strategy seems to float into the circles and eventually toward the boards looking for a rebound. If he can work on getting into better scoring position rather than just working the boards, he'd be our 3rd line center now. He's definitely got a lot more potential than I thought. Future 2nd line shutdown center? Or 1st line powerforward? Either way I'm excited to watch him for years to come and I hope the Canucks don't trade him before his 26th birthday...lol

No, they were dissolved after the 2010-11 season. Mostly because they were terrible and the travel schedule was horrendus. The then Chilliwack Bruins of the WHL moved in and became the Victoria Royals. The K-Wings are now our ECHL affiliate.
