Sigh. The Rangers play too much like a Western team. We all know this team has struggled against western style teams... That and it's a morning game. Pretty much over now.

Saying people have zero knowledge of the game and are sitting on their "fat asses" drinking beer is an insult. I have probably been watching hockey before you were even born as have a lot of people here with criticisms of this team. Fans who have sat through the mediocre years this team has put forth has every right to criticize them. People are fans for a reason. If you're sitting around, praising everything this team does even if they're playing like crap, I'm sorry to say it but you're a pretty unknowledgeable fan. They're professional athletes being payed millions to perform on TV and if they don't perform fans have every right to be upset about it.... It's a sport. If they want to make millions, they play through criticisms.

Haha so saying Kassian and Edler have been playing like crap of late is unknowledgeable? Please, go watch some highlights of the last game where Edler was walked around about 3 times in the same game and Kassian was an absolute non factor for the ice time he got. When players have bad games, people have every right to call them out on it. You're just being a cheer leader and turning a blind eye to everything that is wrong with this team.

Playing a really good road game so far but I'd like to see them do this against LA, San Jose, Anaheim, etc

The team is full of grinders and two way forwards. The only forwards that can be classified as "skilled" forwards on the Canucks are the Sedins and to a WAYYYYY lesser extent Santorelli. They have no guys that can snipe a goal on the rush. No one. The last player they had that could do that is Hodgson. This team has no game changing forwards outside of the Sedins and maybe Kesler on good nights.

Oh look, they actually have players that can score on the rush, unlike the Canucks.

1-0 Canucks. Score a goal with like 1 minute left in the third to win the game. Puts up 50 shots on the Sens but Lehner is outstanding.

Not doom and gloom. Just being realistic. The other teams in the west are too good to be able to keep up with without a consistent top 6 forward. This team is full of 3rd/4th line two way forwards and grinders. This team has 3 real top sixers and a fringe one in Burrows (3rd liner without the Sedins). This team has way too much money in defense that is massively underachieving right now.

May as well tank for a top 10 pick then. At least we can get something of value if this team isn't going to make the playoffs.... And I can tell you they aren't with the players they have right now and how good the other teams are in the west. They need a top 6 scorer. If they don't get a guy who can score on the rush, get 30ish goals a season consistently, they're done.

Daigo Kobayashi, Davidson, Cannon, Knighton, Simon Thomas, Rusin, Heinemann and Hertzog all released

All of these California teams having 3 point games between them because they're so similar. Further widening the gap between us and them.
