  1. One of My favourite moments of Trumps Presidency is when he hyper hyped up a rally in Tulsa

He walked in to the stage and was obviously just deflated.

that night, it was determined that Tic Tok arranged for there followers to fake buy all of Trumps tickets... the results were beyond rewarding.... priceless

I, too, had one of "those" today.  In Kins to get Dad some produce.  In walks I'm so buff puffy jacket....in a hurry and brushing by everyone because he was way more important than the rest of us.  The fact that he was not observing social distancing was enough....but he strutted right on in without a mask.  I'm not as nice as you....I said "you should be wearing a damn mask".  He looked over with a blue steel wannabe death stare (actually more like a pigeon looking for crumbs) and eventually did put one on.

But kept giving me the stare down.  He was so obnoxious that he put his basket of produce on the ground at the till then decided he wanted to choose a guava so left it to continue shopping despite there being a line up and only one till open.  Such a hack.  He left the blue carton for the perfect guava behind and the casher told him to get it...they were weighed IN the carton.  Cheapskate.

I'd been helping an old guy (90'ish?) who didn't know what a rutabaga was...he eventually settled for a parsnip...said his wife was making a stew and sent him but he had no clue what he was looking for.  That was what he lined up with....a single parsnip.  Puffy finally decided he had the perfect guava to match his perfect self and proceeded to get his stuff checked through.  I told the older guy to go before me...puffbrain again glared at me as I did.  I wanted to say "YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT ASSHAT".  I said to the older guy..."you've got to watch out for these superheroes...they're dangerous".  Puffy stomped out of the store as the cashier thanked me (I'm a regular there and apologized for my lack of patience).  I just am so done with the attitude.  SO DONE.  I felt so sad at the thought that this old guy and his wife are at the mercy of clowns like this.  That an innocent trip for a rutabaga for their evening stew could cause their deaths because one guy with sensitive skin and no heart couldn't put a cloth mask on his pathetic stubbly face while he caressed all the guavas in the store.

Seniors are counting on us to be better than this.  What part of "they could die" doesn't register with some?

Both hilarious and truth.... but to clarify the bolded, are you perhaps referring to....

  3. In an interview with Rachel Maddow Thursday night on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” the host asked Mary Trump if she’s ever heard President Trump use racist or anti-Semitic slurs, or express other racist sentiments.

“Yeah, of course I did,” Mary Trump replied. “And I don’t think that should surprise anybody, given how virulently racist he is today.”

Maddow clarified, “Have you heard the president use the N-word?”

“Yeah,” Mary Trump said with a nod.

“And anti-Semitic slurs specifically?” Maddow pressed.

    “Yes,” Mary Trump confirmed.

Mary Trump said such language was common in her extended family and was especially prevalent among the older generations of Trumps, “as if it were perfectly commonplace and ordinary to say such things,” she said. “I didn’t share their ideas about race and Judaism at all. But you know, when you grow up with that being perfectly normal, you don’t really think twice about it.”

Looking good so far. Still cant believe we are 1 game (2 periods) away from eliminating the defending champions. We will probably get smoked by Vegas, but I think this team can surprise about anyone!

We only beat Vegas twice and both in OT or later. Vegas has the same 2 wins vs Blues both in OT or later. Vegas fans are hoping we win this series as much as us. Isnt it bad luck to hope to play a certain team in the playoffs and get them?

    :bigblush:

    LAST CANADIAN TEAM REMAINING!!! :emot-parrot:

    Please... continue....

Oh, and you can forget about tips anymore. Including restaurants. Not that they should receive any tips to begin with. It's not my job to do your employers job.

    Whatever you say, Mr. Pink...

no, he was an asshat. A person working at the market asked him to put it on properly and he said no. People gave him a wide berth.

I just have no tolerance for people who are still going into stores and public places and either not wearing a mask or wearing it like its some kind of protest. We all know we can do something very simple to help others and it just infuriates me to see people like this walking around not caring about the health of others. Its one thing if your are risking your own life, thats fine, but some of us have elderly parents.

this pandemic has exposed so many people to just be selfish tools. I was at a market in Richmond yesterday, with signs everywhere saying masks are mandatory, and this mouth breather asshat is walking around with a mask hanging off his ear.

I do see far more people over 50 not wearing masks in stores than anyone else too, these people should be old enough to know better.

This is an unfair assessment. At least he’s prepared...

I work in rehab for Long Term Care, My profession covers three different LTC facilities.

We are mandated to wear masks at all times.... But it is not really possible.... Honestly, I’ll have questions/orders for nurses or care staff .... then masks come off... or they go to the chin.....or........ dangle on an ear!!!

Its not easy living with these things on your face all day. Personally, even when I’m treating a resident, I’ll pull the mask out from my face.... just to get an actual quality inhale... the put it back on for an exhale.

I usually can’t wait to get out of their room so I can hang my mask on one ear and take a couple normal breaths. Because I know, if I have to, I can slap it back on in .02 seconds.

I do not believe the person you saw was an “asshat”... Maybe he was. But if he had it hanging there, he was at least prepared.
