The game was too close for comfort.

I had two whole life policies. One was in conjunction with an RRSP. I was able to start drawing on it at 65. I cashed it in and moved it to another RRSP and received $125,000 after paying in about $57,000 over 38 years.
The other policy I have I paid about $20 a month for 35 years and is not an RRSP. It is worth about $25,000 if I cash in and is worth $50,000 if I die. I no longer make payments past age 65.
Bottom line I had $100,000 life insurance from the time I was 30 for less than $150 a month plus a $1400 RRSP deduction for 38 years.
Had I went with term insurance I would have paid less but I would now have only a death benefit.
For a young person who is not an active investor I recommend to go for whole life over term. -

Drop Cole to 3 move Hronek and Myers up. Myers can handle second pairing minutes.

Nice to see Calgary left with the crumbs. Or was that licking up the crumbs.

Always nice to see Calgary lose. They seem to be slowly losing their shine.

Argos should be a good test after the entire league saw what we did to Winnipeg. Adams has looked good with a depleted receiving group, and we're finally starting to get healthy there. Should be a hell of a game.
I don’t think the Argos running game will run over the Lions. Not sure how good Kelly will be passing most downs. I think the Lions will win handily though the reffing will probably lean to the Argos.

Looks like Hatcher will be back for the Argo game. That will give VA another reliable target.

The dumb question of the day… are you going to mount a expedition to recover the bodies?
Hmm let’s see… 5000+ psi. What exactly are they supposed to recover?

Adams goes 25 of 35 for 319 yards 1 td and 1 int
ran for 11 yards on 2 carries
Mizzell ran for 93 yards on 18 carries.
I was surprised to see only2 sacks, in a game the opposition scored no points,
Sacks were by Betts and Banks
with Peters getting the only int.
Montreal, has allowed 3 less points than B.C., but at this time has played 1 less game.
Toronto's first game versus Hamilton is at 4 pacific time. Hamilton lost their first game.
Banks sack was negated by an illegal contact penalty on Manny.

65 isn't considered elderly ....maybe 30 years ago it was.
Face it… it’s old.

Watched a bit of the Bombers - TiCats last night and wow...from what I saw, BLM looked nothing like the guy who dominated in Calgary.
The score flattered Hamilton, as Winnipeg's special teams tried to give the opposition a bit of help, but it still wasn't enough.
BLM has been washed up for awhile. He did ok in Calgary on a running and short passing game. He was never great at hitting the long throws and was worse after his shoulder injury.

I would like to take this opportunity to say to the Province and Sun … beep off.
Lions game day season opener and no story.
Come on you can do better.- 2

Good job by VA tonight. Evans was mediocre but ok for a backup.
The running game needs work.
Always nice to beat Calgary. -
CFL needs a better TV deal.

Deb was the main reason I watched BCTV and later Global news and still do. Seems they have a knack for hiring genuine journalists.
You are missed Deb. -

I note the 4 QBs on the roster are Americans.
Whatever happened to last years back ups? iirc at least one was Canadian, along with our former starter, Rourke
I am guessing that a Canadian back up was required to maintain the ratio during a game.

I agree. A good running game is a must. Hopefully at least one of these guys is a good one.
