  1. They should. Luongo also needs to be better though.

Do you not get that letting in two goals a game should mean you win more than you lose? If you don't get I dont know what to say.

If you are letting in 2 goals and losing more than you are winning based, then logic says its not goaltending buddy

stop trolling everyone is tired of your nonsense.

all for placing blame where it deserved, operative word, deserved.

  2. BZzqvhbCIAA1nDR.jpg

Lol how did the refs miss that

Anyway yeah Luo could have had the second goal but at that point it's still a 2-1 game. Have to score more than 1 goal

And anyone know why Kassian was benched?

    LOL! that's hilarious!

As for Kass, he answered professionally after the game and simply said "I know why I was benched and i need to be better and find a way to contribute"

  3. Again., the second goal was DREADFUL. When your team has been having trouble scoring, you need to focus and find a way to save those.

shouldn't the sedin's, burr, kes, hansen, garrison edler, find a way to focus and score? you clearly have never played the game man..

its fine, being a sofa superstar you have a right to blame...when you've played the game you get its a team effort and scoring one goal a game doesn't allow you to win very often

  4. No that's an opinion. At least you attempted to add some content. Heretic, however, is adding literally nothing to the conversation and is making things personal. It's fine if you disagree with me, but it's not fine when you act like he is,

when your goalie lets in 2 goals a game, you should be winning alot more than losing its that simple. and lou has done that but we're losing so the problem is offense buddy.

learn to play the game and you might get it.

  5. That's a reasonable opinion. Again, he needs to stop the second one, but at least you're not acting like a 6 year old because someone disagrees with you.

your commentary 'implies' that the reason we lost this game, along with many other recently is because of Luongo. which is NOT the case.

this is why others are upset

much as during the cup run, you are blaming Lou for no being perfect, yet ignoring the terrible offensive out put of the rest of the team.

In the cup run, Lou got blamed particularly for the loss vs boston, yet this team during that series scored 8 goals in seven games.

effectively in order to win the stanley cup, lou would have had to allow 1 or less per game. yet no one argued the sedin's didn't show up, kesler didn't show up, burr etc.

I was at 3 games during that series had we found a way to score, Lou would have won the conn smythe

In a similar vein you are now blaming him for losing this game (yet he kept them in it). you give him no credit for some of the big saves he made earlier in the game (ie off Kane on the 2 on 1) to hold his team in.

Yes that was a bad goal. was it the reason we lost NO...

the reason we are losing has zero to do with our goaltending, it has to do with our lack of scoring.

your constant harping on lou shows a incredible lack of hockey knowledge and displays you as a whiny little kid who wants to troll...sorry thats fact.

  6. Again, making it personal. Just because I expect better out of my team doesn't mean I don't want them to win. If you have that much of an issue with my posts put me on ignore and stop acting like CDC's equivalent of Brad Marchand.

    luongo doesn't score goals

    end of discussion

  7. MG needs to realize one thing.

Being a one line team is very easy to stop.

He may believe that the Sedins and Kes can carry this team, and his money ball picks (who are playing well granted) can provide "team" secondary scoring.

This idea is simplistic and a failure on his part.

If you have a one line team, teams can play their best players against them constantly, they will tire them out and when you're not overly worried about the rest of the team because they are 3rd and 4th liners they become very easy to beat.

We cannot win with simply one line. AV never put Kes with the Sedins for that reason. Now because Torts has changed that, its become a glaring issue.

Having Kes on the second line without a trade appears to be a necessity. He will need a playmaker and will need to be a threat so that teams have a tough time deciding who to focus on.

We have no offensive scoring depth that is MG's fault, but Torts needs to recognize that he's playing into the opponents hand by not having Kes on the 2nd.

  8. Funny if we had the 2011 offense we would probably be on like a 7 game win streak. Lu has this year managed to keep the games mostly at 2 goals against and ain't letting them get out of hand.

But now 2 goals against is too much, we need to keep them at 1 or 0 lol

reminds me of how they played in the boston series man...bad memories

  9. Lu is ruining everyon's confidence by letting in soft goals at the worst possible times. He cost us a point today and it's laughable people actually don't have a problem with his effort on the 2nd goal.

    :picard:

not only is lu being blamed for goals against now he's being blamed for goals for?

lol...wow that's impressive....Lou is the reason the canucks can't SCORE goals now folks!

    haahhahaha

  10. I would send him down. I've been watching him closely the lat couple games and I desperately want him to succeed but he's not geting the message. He's got to learn that you're fighting a war in the trenches with your brothers and keeping the puck out of the net is a staple of life not a haphazard decision if your so inclined.

I hate to say it but he plays lazy or just careless, There are countless times where he can backcheck a bit and break up plays but he sits on the half boards waiting for opportunities. He's a cheater. That might have worked in junior but he's got to clue in to the fact that he's in the NHL and he has responsibilities.

I agree...he's also got to learn to start imposing his size on other teams..he's big but you seldom see him really using his size to get to the net etc.

Part of that is puck confidence though...

  11. um 4 points actually out after tonight with Phoenix losing they will have 2 games in hand and Colorado and LA have 32 points and play tonight so 1 of them will be 34 points or 34 and 33 points with Colorado having 3 games in hand and LA having 1 game in hand

if we fall 12-14 back before the mid point market, with how tight this conference is, we can start thinking about who goes before the deadline ...because we won't be making the playoffs...and thats not far off..

  12. Here is the problem

We just had some space, Wiese had the puck on the left wing.

He comes down the ice and stops above the circle at the half boards

He is not Henrik Sedin. He needs to take that puck hard to the net with his speed, create a shot and a rebound some mess and hopefully second/third chances

Instead he thinks he's gretz and gets pasted and we turn it over..

    Unbelievable

  13. so how long before Burrows starts to produce, this guy is declining pretty fast and that contract doesn't look good anymore

wow man....the guy has been the most consistent canuck reg season and playoffs for 8 years and he comes back from an injury and you're whining? not mention incredibly underpaid for 5 of those years...

    wow ..troll a little?
