Matt Cooke: First and foremost, I want to say that Im disappointed and sorry that Tyson Barrie cant play for the Colorado Avalanche tonight. I wish that he could. It was not my intent to collide with him knee-on-knee. It was my intent to finish my check. Playoffs are a hard and physical time, and its my job to be physical. Ive led my team in hits in all three games, and its an intense time. Ive led my team this year in hits, and in this series. Since March 20, 2011, Ive been a changed player. Ive approached the game differently. I think differently about the game. The stats that Ive collected over those three seasons prove that Im a changed player. And the plays that I make, and the plays that I dont make, prove to that point as well. At the end of the day, this situation was not my intent.

It is essentially the lesser of the two evils in the series. Once SJ takes it the Ducks will wipe the floor with them (at least that's my hope) and so on and so on... In the end our boys aren't playing for the cup so who cares who wins...
Problem is i hate the ducks to but not as mutch as kings and sharks and hawks hopefully its dallas or another lesser evil out of the west and anybody butt boston in the east

I hate both teams. Too bad they can't both lose. If I had to chose though, I would love the kings come back and win in 7 just so the sharks can choke again
Yeah i agree with tangelos would love to see th kings lose painfuly but part of me wants to enjoy sharks getting humileated again haha

Why is people cheering for sharks? They are the same poison as the kings i really dont think there is lesser evil here

Thats really stupid it was more accidental and carless than anythingMatt Cooke has been offered an in-person hearing for his knee on Tyson Barrie. That means he could be suspended longer than six games.
Cooke is a good guy he used to be great with canucks and really should be back next game
