If Bo gets sent down, There really isn't any guarantee his offense will improve more than if he spends his time in the NHL. He may get more time in the line up. OHL is slower paced and the coach plays him in top defensive match up as a shut down center. He is not being pushed by London knights to be a their main offensive threat.

This new ruling hasn't started yet. I think it is expected to start in the Next Offseason. So we should be safe from that.

The Senators received a conditional draft pick as a result of that fracas and no club has been compensated similarly since. That can be expected to change, maybe beginning as soon as next offseason. -
RFA Question
Example Johansen with CBJ.
If they can not come to a contract agreement. What happens? Arbitration? and what ever the decision is Johansen is forced to sign? If NHL starts before an agreement is made does he have to sit out in the box until there is a contract?
Has this ever happened before or in most cases is the RFA signed before the season starts? -
It would of been cool though If Benning knew already if Tallon was going to say no. Than we could of maybe done something like this. If value is good?
Trade 6 for 7 and a 2nd or 3rd while having the team sign a contract saying they wont draft V,
Than continue down. 7 for 8th+2/3 etc and go down to 10 or so. Than scoop up all the extra 2nds/3rds for the draft and cash in. -

Lat year TSN had complete coverage of rounds 2-7 on the Saturday. Just checking the listings it looks like Wimbledon on TSN and TSN 2. WTF? Glad for hockey to be moving on the Sportsnet next year if that's gonna be the case.
I think NHL.com is streaming it for everyone at least

If rankings had him around 15-17 Maybe he was a little disappointed he dropped down and had a set mind on one of the potential nhl teams drafting in that area. Still... no poker face there

After so much hope of getting that #1 and it not going through, I am almost more excited to see who Benning takes at our later picks. Hopefully we get some hidden gems.
Hopefull Virtannin will be great. Nice to have someone who really wants to be here and with the Canucks. That will be a big + and what we need on our team when he is ready for NHL -

Ya sounds like it's going to be the 6th pick and Kesler won't be traded tomorrow. Hopefully some kind of player trade happens at least. We need some changes in our line up instead of keeping to try same players every year. I think some new perspective and voices in the group would go far.

If Chicago would trade us Sharp or Seabrook and Versteeg for Kesler maybe we could flip our 6, Seabrooke/Sharp/Versteeg to Florida for 1st pick. A left winger or a Defense player with cup experience who could help lead Panthers is something you think they would want/need. Than its kind of like kesler and our 6th for 1st. Not sure if that is Over payment or not. Most would agree Kesler for the 1st alone would never happen. Not sure if 6+ Sharp/Versteeg would be enough for the Panthers
Sharp has a limited NMC and Seabrook has a limited NTC. I think Versteeg doesn't have any.
Sharp would look great one our line though as well. But not getting younger with that trade And I wouldn't mind getting Leddy in a trade. But we are backlogged in Defense as it is with our contract prices. So would have to get one of the other NTC to move or trade Tanev.
