an evander kane caliber player is a pretty dang good player. PLus vancouver would have to add a grade A prospect and probably an other pick/prospect

nylander is worth the chance. I believe he'll overcome the attitude issues and will shine in sweden next year.

The Gophers are the number 1 collage team at putting player in the nhl in the last 5 years. I think schoeder (how ever you spell it) just needs time. Playing 4th line minutes with-probably- a 70% foot when your an undersized player is a pretty big disadvantage. edit: fixing my awful grammar

either way Canuck fans are going to say why didn't we draft ______ he's a all-star now. Also i believe if kesler is gone Gaunce or Horvat will probably take his place. Not the guy that we pick this year (as many think will happen)

but that makes to much sense for canucks fans. They think that 6th overall pick is going to be an immediate impact player and will help them win the cup next year. Kind of like mackinnion

I think that virtanen is probably one of the safest pick the canucks can take at 6. His combination of shot, speed, and physicality should allow him to become a 3rd liner no problem. But that being said the only problem i have with him at 6 is that he's more of a second line prospect, than a top end all-star caliber player, which is what you hope to get with a top 10 pick
