1 Bedard
2 Fantilli
3 Carlsson
4 Michkov
5 Smith
6 Leonard
7 Benson
8 Wood
9 Sale

He says high draft picks, to anyone not understanding why this isn't him going back on his word.
-
To anyone complaining about giving up a draft pick in this scenario, this trade was essentially bo horvat + a 2nd for beauvillier, raty, & Hronek. That's pretty good if you ask me

Flu vaccines also function that way, but they do not protect against all flu variants, only those that are projected to become the most common). The Covid vaccines were initially sold to us in that way, to prevent one from getting Covid) and were initially supposed to be 97% effective. Since the mRNA vaccines focused primarily on the spike protein (the part of the virus most subject to mutation, rather than functional internal elements of the virus) they quickly became less effective - within a few months effectiveness dropped to under 50%. At that point we became informed that we should get the vaccine to protect others, then as new variants emerged, the vaccine effectiveness dropped to less than 10% after three months from it being administered. Whereas natural immunity was still 70% effective after 17 months from infection. Yet natural immunity was denigrated in the media and by governments. Most infections therefore were not being passed on by the unvaxxed, but by the vaxxed whose protection had quickly degraded, but who had the media fostered illusion that vaxxing made them safe.
I had the two Phizer vaxxes and still got Covid - twice. If you think vaccines work the way you think they work, then why the hell did they have to change the definition of "vaccine"? Why did CDC change definition for ‘vaccine’? Agency explains | Miami Herald (I included a sympathetic to CDC reference here, though many other references less generous have been removed by many search engines).
From the Phizer vaccine I got had a massive adverse reaction - on the first shot, I got all the symptoms of Covid, lost 15 pounds in six weeks and did not recover for two months. On the second, I lost another fifteen pounds in six weeks and was couch bound for six months with myocarditis). Of course no one knew the effect of these vaccines because the testing information from Phizer was sequestered by the CDC until US District Judge Mark Pittman ordered that information released in ten tranches from March 2022 until December 2022. It is from that data that it was discovered that Phizer had not published its actual results and we learned that, unlike previous flu vaccines that yielded 1 adverse effect in a million doses - the Phizer vaccine resulted in one serious adverse effect (such as myocarditis, pericarditis) in 800 doses. In addition, there have been effects such as this (from which both I and my sister now suffer) - severe joint pain - Pfizer Covid vaccine side effects: More than one in 10 people suffer joint pain | Express.co.uk and this:
Since at the time of my first dose, none of this information was available, my Doctor felt that due to my age and diabetes, that I should take the second shot (there was no published data to speak of on adverse effects because it was all suppressed in the media (it was not allowed to criticize the vaccine on any digital media except later on Rumble). Thank God for Elon Musk, because he has released all of the data on how Twitter (and other digital media corps) acted as a tool of the US government and the pharma giants in suppressing any adverse commentary on these virtually untested drugs (mRNA, that is). Homeland Security, the FBI, and the CIA had seventy operatives working at Twitter alone, actively suppressing information - see the inside data that Musk has released. Phizer did not testing on children (healthy people under thirty face no higher risk from Covid than from the seasonal flu) and yet they have been essentially coercing parents into having their kids vaxxed with this crap. Judge scraps 75-year FDA timeline to release Pfizer vaccine safety data, giving agency eight months | Washington Examiner
There is as yet no confirmed causal link to SADS (sudden adult death syndrome), yet coincidently, there has been a nearly 50% rise in adult mortality since the start of this vaccination program. The unexplained rise in excess deaths around the world (substack.com)
Maybe you should actually do some research before you sound off accusing others of ignorance: you merely display your own. There are none so ignorant as those who will not even look.Amen brother. Unfortunately there are still those that will discount everything you just said as lunacy lol. Facts are facts though.

I'd go for cutter gauthier for sure. 19 goals in 22 USHL games looks really good. Good two way player too exactly what we need

We lost this game.
Such a frustrating team. This was a loss, I hope the boys know that.
Lol that's not how it works. Besides, we basically needed to win every game to get into the playoffs before this game, and still do, so us giving them 1 point changes nothing. We won that's what we needed to do and what matters. Now they need to win again. And again. Nothing's different since it went to OT.

Honestly I will lose almost all faith in this management almost instantly if one of their first moves is not bringing back BB in favour of Maurice. Simply put, BB is a superior coach in every way. Look at their records and watch their teams play. I have no faith Paul Maurice would be the guy to get us anywhere. For all the talk about BB failures in the playoffs, you have to at least get there first which he does. Not to mention, I would imagine he has learned a thing or two from those failures. Besides, just give him another year. Replacing him with Maurice would be a f*cking joke.

Maurice is an interesting thought but you just can't fire or move on from Bruce after the work he's put in with this team - it would be too damaging to the fans and maybe even the players. These players have seen so much change in personnel over the last 3-4 years, JB basically dismantled the team every chance he got. Now finally we have some stability, a relatively calm trade deadline, and we're playing the best hockey we have in years at around a .63 win % with Bruce. No coach who I can remember has had a chant in Rogers Arena.
Management would be foolish to get rid of Bruce, he deserves a solid off-season with the same unit to prepare for next season purely on the half a season he's had, and surely shouldn't be blamed for missing the playoffs. After next year Bruce'll be much older and then certainly if he wants to move on and retire (depending on how the season goes) I'd be open to a new NHL coach, but not yet - he's only coached half a season and he's done it brilliantly.
Exactly why it makes zero sense to not bring him back. Even if they want to in bring in someone else, give the team one more year of Bruce for their own sanity if for nothing else l. They have played great under him. Last thing our core guys need is a new coach, new systems, and high potential for another slow start. Give them some stability with the same coach that was finally able to get results for at least one more year. His contract will be up at that point, make the decision then. Team option makes sense if we $&!# the bed, but we have played very well with him so it's a no brainer to bring him back. If they don't bring him back and the team faulters out of the gates next year, that's on management and I won't give them a free pass. Neither should anyone else just because they are new. It would be an atrocious move and up there with some of the worst Benning ever did.
Also for all the talk about if management wants to "build for a few years down the road" how do we think our core players will feel about that? Especially with the way they have played under BB.

With JT Miller's 80th point tonight he matches Trevor Linden's career best and enters a pretty elite club of all time Canucks in a single season. How far up the ladder can he climb?

With how aggressive JR was with Pittsburgh I'll be upset if we just stand pat. After his 3 month assessment of our team, if he can't change more than hamonic for Dermott, that tells me he thinks this team has the right tools to take the next step forward (which it doesn't).
Why would that tell you that. It's been 3 months. Not a long time.

In summer 2023 no team will pay JT more than 64 million. He'd be beyond stupid to not take an 8.5 x 8 contract offer from us this summer. Huge gamble for him that would cost him 10s of millions.
Guess we'll see.

He's a UFA he's gonna get paid based off this year if we sign him this off-season. The 2 years prior to this one mean squat in comparison to this year, he's a UFA and has all the leverage What you're trying to argue is a moot point.
This is essentially a contract year for him. Even check the tweet out his agent made.
Guess we will see, he still has one year left. If he repeats this year next then he deserves it and maybe we can't afford him. If he reverts back to the previous 2 years or somewhere in between, he's still really good and should get paid probably in the 8 - 9 million range. Depending on what his demands are in that scenario would be good to resign him

It's called sarcasm. I agree. He can't get as much as a perennial PPG guy. Although I'm looking at a guy like Kaprizov who got a massive payday for only 1 year of experience.
Ya fair enough, and I am definitely not advocating we pay him like a 100 point do it all 1st line center. I'm saying he should get paid more like a 80 point 1st line do it all center.

The only stupid thing is the fact you’re overlooking the fact that this year is his best year. He’s on a 100 point pace where last year he wasn’t even a ppg or our best forward.
The entire point going over your head is the fact that we are gonna sign him based off this season. If this is his best year than it presents risk and concern.
It completely contradicts the overall picture. The sample size is moot. He’s a UFA not a RFA he has all the leverage. How he’s playing now matters a whole lot more than how he has played the 2 years prior when it comes to his next contract if we’re re-signing him this off-season.
I'm not overlooking that, that's precisely why I'm saying use a larger sample size. What are you talking about.

I'm just gonna look at the sample size of the last 13 games and believe Miller is a 170 point player per season
If that's what you are gathering I'm thinking from my post, where I literally said the opposite (look at his overall 170 games or so with us) not sure what to say to you
-
10 hours ago, Junkyard Dog said:
You missed my point of each year being different. Not overall consistent of the entire sample size. It contradicts the sample size.
It presents risk when signing him based off this most recent season when he's playing like 10M forward when he hasn't been a 10M dollar forward each of his seasons here. Puts management in a tough boat when it comes to his next contract.
It's a stupid point. Makes no sense. Of course each year is different the overall picture has been the same the same though and that's consistent. Pretty sure no one would disagree that its better to look over 3 years of play then 1 season and his past 3 seasons have been great. It's almost 200 games he has played for us and look at his PPG. It's very good.
That being said I'm not advocating to sign him to a 10 million contract I've never said that. That would be using 1 season as a barometer which I would agree is dumb that's what I'm saying. If we look at his PPG over 3 seasons we get a better idea of his worth. 9 million max I say is his worth. 9.5 maybe depending on the term. (Shorter term of course)

Each of his last 3 years have been different. Already pointed that out.
You missed the point. Just look at ppg over that sample size, and see he has been very consistent. It's not a small sample size either.

On 3/10/2022 at 3:27 PM, Junkyard Dog said:
The only catch is this is Miller's true breakout year. We've had a short sample size of Miller. Last year he wasn't our best forward and the year prior to that he was on a functional lotto line with a hotshot Petey and with a incredible rookie D in Hughes on the PP.
A lot of those guys on that list were putting up pretty good numbers more consistently prior to those ages.
I would need to see more of Miller playing at this level before I would concretely back this.Nevertheless good research.
Idk looks at his point per game over the past 170 games.
