utica's defense compared to the AHL is so much better than sbisa/bieksa/clendenning/corrado/weber/stanton compared to the NHL
-
He's 18 can't more be written?
what else is there to say
-
Bo Horvat + Jake Virtanen
for
Sam Reinhart
get real. No gm in the NHL makes that trade
buffalo does...
-
Common now... Your just making armpit fart noises with that comment.
-
Larkin doesn't give you any grit like Virtanen does. In the west you need big, strong guys that can play with a chip on their shoulder, and most importantly put the puck in the net. Virtanen tics all those boxes with beautiful colors
virtanen also ticks the beautiful colours of the logos of opposing net minders on wide open chances like hansen
-
Because he scored one powerplay goal?
Overreaction much?
plus 2g/2a against the best defensive AHL team
-
larkin so good
-
To think he sat as a healthy scratch in the first round.
go on...

larkin>>>virtanen

You're telling me Brendan Gaunce is going to fetch a first rounder in one of the deepest drafts ?
I applaud your efforts.
hes a late first who is on track and a few years ahead in his development.
vey cost a 2nd. vey.

gahh he is such a good skater
-
i have shivers watching virtanen make a legit ahl D look bad all by himself there.
can't wait to see him next season
-
6 goals on 23 shots. utica outshot them 2 to 1, including 2 by some guy named Jujhar Khaira
markstrom's mental game is why no matter the size or athleticism he brings, happy-go-lucky lack will always be the right choice.

And he started to show signs of fatigure in the playoffs. which is still a reason to be cautious with the amount of games he plays. Next year I see it being a 50/30 split. With Miller geting 50 games
he played like 30 straight. with a few nights off it'd be a non factor
-
What emergence? He played pretty well given an absurdly small sample size, not nearly enough to dethrone Miller.
he played 41 games 2 years in a row, both with long stints where he started every night in a row.
-
Agree about the forwards, but I didn't mind the D and see no reason to play Hutton.
totally, our D is A plus.
-
He's not even 19 yet
but then...
HOW OLD IS HE?!?!?!
-
Lol at people who dump on Dorsett
i know right

You said he won't be a regular, which to me implies you think he'll be a fringe player at best. On recent Canuck rosters, I'd group guys like Dalpe, Oreskovich, etc. in that group. You really don't think he'll be better than those guys? I do.
don't mind him, he's just a bitter melon
