Nothing to complain about here, he has been such a great linemate for Petey.

In the right situations he'll put up 60 points. Definitely underachieving for his salary but I don't think it's worth giving up assets just to get rid of him. We can still use his 60 points and then trade him in his final year and retain salary and actually get an asset back. Right now, we would have to give up an asset to get rid of him.
We are tanking anyway and still need warm bodies to actually play. Might as well keep him.
Boeser is not worth his contract but he is still an NHL player.
Same with OEL. NHL d man. OEL, as crappy as he has been playing, is still better than Dermott, Burroughs, Myers Stillman. He was benched to send a message that he needs to play harder...
They are definitely overpaid but it makes no sense to pay to get rid of them to only replace them for similar production.
The real difference makers in this league will only come when you either trade a quality player (like Horvat) or you draft one.
You think he will have any trade value in 7 years?
They should be trading him for anything they can get right now just to clear cap space

Sell him for a 6th if they have to just to get rid of his contract. His body language suggest he has no interest in being here anyway.
They need cap space more than they need him on the roster.

That to me looks like someone who has no desire to be here.

Against Seattle (a pretty good team to be fair) we were 5-0 when Petey was on the ice in 19 mins and 0-5 when he was on the bench the other 47ish mins.
That's some MVP stat right there.
Yep, Seattle has been playing pretty well.
Van was lucky to draft Petey

Petey becoming a force again. Last year he had to deal with a lot of critics around the league saying he was over-rated and not living up to the media hype about him after a good rookie season but now he's one of the best and most dominant players in the league.
He absolutely single handedly took over that Kraken game in a way I don't think we have ever seen since perhaps Bure. I know Kesler took on the Preds in the playoffs in 2011 almost by himself, but he never dropped 5 points the way Petey did, ties the game late and scores a shootout winner.
That was a warning message to the rest of the league. Then the next game he shuts down McDavid and Draisaitl defensively.
Taken him a few years but finally Petey has arrived and should be considered amongst the league's top players.
I listen to a lot of hockey talk on Satellite radio, and often people think of Petey as a top 10 player in the league when he is rolling. Not that he is amazing in one aspect but just being a well rounded type of player

The core is great individually, but this team doesn't work.
-
With his cap it I don't see them getting more than like a 3rd
Anything above that is great

Scorched earth scenario would be great.
Some individuals who could fetch pretty decent returns.
It's better than watching this refurbished garbage year after year

Not that I dislike Boeser by any means. But they have to shed cap

Why?
He wants to play on a winning team. Why would he want to be here on a rebuilding team? He has already said he wants to win, and unless they pull off miracles that won't be the case here.
I would love to be wrong

I'm ready to move onto the Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes era of Canucks hockey.
I doubt EP re signs here after this contract is up the way things are going.

Will be too bad to see him go, but for the future of the franchise I believe it's the right move. I'm a fan of Bo and I'm glad I didn't buy a jersey before the season like I had planned given the recent news.
Vancouver needs a culture change.
I would Still like to see Miller moved

If Schenn wants to make another run for a cup they should consider it.
Welcome him back with open arms and he can play out his days here if he wants, seems like such a great dude

Nope, season is long and hard enough for the players already. This isn't basketball or soccer they are playing

Good to see a W
I just looked at the stats on NHL, and there are 62 players at a PPG or better pace right now. Insane

Anybody arguing against Bure's jersey retirement are simply too young to have seen him play.
False.
I did watch him play growing up and he was my favorite player. They never should have retired his number, He played under 500 games in a Canucks uniform. It did not warrant a jersey retirement.
