Matt Sekeras said he heard from his sources Vancouver is most likely to pick Glass, Mittlestadt or Pettersson (in no paticular order)

I know a team should always take the BPA and if they feel a dman is the way to go this year I'm all for it but was just thinking next years draft is very top heavy with defence (Dahlin, Merkley, Wilde and McIssac) all potentially going top 10 and very thin when it comes to C so if they feel it's close enough to take a C talent wise, they should!

Also 5 by hockeyprospects, 8 by Craig Button and 8 by future considerations. Not saying we should defs pick him but not out of the question especially with this drafts volitility.

If anything Pettersson has been undervalued this whole year! All the final rankings coming out recently have him top 10

How do u guys feel about Elias Pettersson? I've been a huge fan all year! Imo if he actually is a C long term he is in the same grouping as Vilardi, Glass and Mittlestadt. He's listed as being a C on many sites but also a LW. (I thought he was a winger ealier in the year as well)

All this talk about lack of commitment and preparation about Mittlestadt is hilarious. People are acting like he showed up 40 pounds over weight and came last in every testing. Sure his upper body strength is weak rn but he can work on that. He's 18 years old

Mittlestadt was also 5th best in the fatigue testing which shows a high conditioning level

Who said he's going to fall?

Reports of Miro Heiskanen being 6'2 are false. The 7:30am group was tested incorrectly. They were allowed to keep there shoes on by accident. Prognosticators say remove roughly 2 inches from what they were listed as!

Something just doesn't seem right. Every one keeps saying this draft is so volitile from 3-12 yet everyone has the same names from about 3-7 in about the same order. I bet we are all going to be a bit surprised when we hear the names being call near the top of the draft

I'd assume there going to bring Mittlestadt and Vilardi aswell. Last year CBJ brought Keller and Brown down there and buffalo brought Chychrun. Bascially amounts to team doing more due dillifence.

Couldn't agree more! Wouldn't be upset with picking any since they are all so similar potential wise.

Sadely a high chance Vancouver still doesn't take him:/ lots of buzz its they're keying in on Mittlestadt, Glass, Liljegren or Makar . I'd be happy with any except Makar
