He’s not signing in Vancouver. Vegas will do everything to keep him.
Probably not, we'll probably sign Schenn and 3rd line center. Anything else I'll be surprised

Barbashev, I wonder how much he'll sign for

There aren’t any rumours. It’s just an idea that media has proposed. Considering the quality of players falls off decently from 11 to 19 and the Canucks can draft a player that can make the lineup in a couple years. I don’t see why they don’t just keep their pick at 11. Draft ASP, Benson, Moore or Reinbacher and call it a day. All great choices.
Yes I'd say keep the pick, going to get a good player at 11

What's the odds for the Cup?
Right now it isn't good but I bet you win 20 dollars on a quick pick before they win

I think I have a better chance of winning the 6/49 than that happening.
What are better odds Canucks winning Cup or you winning the lottery

The media is saying we may trade #11 for Chicago’s #19 and a second round pick and we give them a cap dump (Boeser, Garland or Myers). Obviously, we get a better pick at 11 than at 19, and most of the names discussed here will be gone. Not sure if this story has legs but it does appear to at least be an option they are exploring. It may mean that PA waits to see who is left at 11 first before making a trade. I would hate for them to do this in advance without knowing who has dropped to #11.
I agree, the trade with Chicago most likely happen until last minute, depending who is gone that is high on the Canucks list and if the remaining names are equals.

Every night I go to bed, I cannot help but think that Nate Danielson is a match made in heaven for this core.
Hopefully he's there at 19 if the trade rumours with Chicago becomes a reality

Funny, no one has voted for Knights winning the series in 4 games on the poll. Lol
This is turning out to be a waste of 8 days for Dallas.

Agreed, although Vegas is making me nervous, they've been playing well and both Eichel and Stone have really stepped up
They have been, you know I've thought Kotkaniemi worth acquiring and I think he'll be a legit top 6 guy, but if they were stronger at 2C they'd probably have won at least a game imo
Should have ponied up for Miller, Aho and Miller down the middle would create more than Aho and Kotkaniemi
Sooner or later Vegas will win their first Cup before we do, might as well get it out of the way already. We still have alot of work to do.

Florida's done a good job supporting Bob but while Bob's been stellar this series also speaks to Carolina's lack of firepower
They were middle of the pack at 15th as far as goals went during the regular season despite being 3rd in shots on goal, they're definitely outshooting Florida but they just can't score
Their powerplay was 19th during the regular season as well, which doesn't help
Carolina's a fantastic defensive team and they have been thus far in this series, but it doesn't matter how well you can defend if your offense dries up
Granted, they're missing Svechnikov and Pacioretty but still
Carolina's been a contender out East for a number of years now but this year felt like the year they needed to shit or get off the pot so to speak, which was why I was proposing they should acquire JT Miller as he'd fit with a team that's already a contender, particularly given Kotkaniemi is their 2C
Gotta wonder if Carolina sees a bit of a shakeup if they're ousted in 4-5 games due to their inability to score
I could see Florida taking both Vegas and Dallas. Florida is definitely getting the defending right now.

Happy with our current coaching situation, now …but it’s just sad how many cast-always it has taken so far, to get here.Probably wouldn't have Pettersson or Hughes

Panthers are a perfect example of if you get in playoffs anything could happen. One day we'll be there again.
