    I'm also trying to keep in mind that what I want and what Alvin wants don't seem to align. But I'm a fan and he's the GM for a reason as much as I disagree I do trust the process and that there are people who's full time job this is. 

     

    I think we will be picking cherries again. Expect we will draft the highest ceiling player on the board with our pick. 

    Just curious if you could rank these players in  highest ceilings, how would you rank them

    Well the general rule of thumb is picking BPA, BUT if it's for position then that changes things, a LOT or if someone goes off the board and sees something in a player other teams have missed and is what their looking for in a player, obviously skill is a big factor but attitude and work ethic are there too as a factor that can help dictate a pick so who knows until it actually happens but kinda fun to see how scenarios play out. 

     This season and next is a really important time for us and will set the tone for years to come, I just want to see depth and the farm NOT sold off for once, that shite doesn't work as we Canucks fans have seen quite enough of that since day 1..  it's time for the b.s. to end and have a "built" elite team with depth! 

    Wouldn't that be a switch??!!

    That's the one thing I'm looking forward to the draft is waiting and seeing how the picks go before we pick. Maybe we get a Hughes gift situation like when got Quinn. We're going to get a good player, might take a few years but would be a great addition to the core of Petey Demko and Hughes.

    At any rate we need to load up on D, not just for the next few years onward window but over the long haul because if there's a position we always need depth at, we all know that's D, it's not rocket science. 

     

    My mock draft on how it could go down

    1) Chicago- Bedard 

    2) Anaheim- Fantilli

    3) BJs - Carlsson 

    4) Sharks - Smith

    5) Habs - Benson

    6) Arizona- Michkov 

    7) Flyers- Reinbacher 

    8) Capitals- Leonard 

    9) Detroit- Moore

    10) St Louis- Dvorsky 

    11) Canucks- Sandin Pellikka or Barlow
