A gaffe that likely never happens again cost us the game and suddenly all of Green's OT decisions are questioned. If we win in OT, no one ever says, good job Green for putting those guys out. I think our record so far (21 points out of 30) should give Green some slack in terms of his decisions as he's more often making the right ones this year than not.

     

     

     

    The thing is.........we aren't winning in OT. We aren't always losing, but we aren't winning.

    Jake Virtanen can barely carry the puck to the net. He is currently a bottom 6 forward and is not anywhere close to the top 6. I really hope he pans out and I cheer for him every game. 

     

    Meanwhile, Nylander and Ehlers both have two 60 point seasons under their belt. The Canucks would currently be a much better team with either of them on the roster.

    In the start of 2009-10 season, the Canucks started the year 0-3-0 before routing the Canadiens 7-1 to their first win. Tonight have a very similar feel to the game.

    The agent screwed Brock by turning down the 7x7 offered back in June.  Long term deal with a guaranteed 49 million.  Now Brock has a short term deal worth 17.5 million.  Brock is a loyal guy, so he will not fire this agent.  But he should. 

    If Boeser continues playing like he has, he will get significantly more money in 3 years. Obviously he has to perform. But if he averages 30+ goals in the next 3 seasons he is gonna get paiiiiiiiiiid in 3 years. Look at Panarin for example. He won the Calder, signed a 2 year bridge, and then cashed in this year. Boeser is on track to do the same.
