I hope Lowry re-signs, seems doubtful though

I always thought Lowry was overrated and would be a nodody if he didn't play in Toronto. Still think that actually..but I also don't like the Raptors so hope they resign em.

Not a boxing expert but I like what a saw from Canelo in the past and if he wins convincingly then it'll lead to a GGG/Canelo fight which from my understanding Canelo has been putting off for quite some time.  Going to be tough to top Joshua/Klitschko from last week though.

Canelo just outclassed Chavez in a weak main event. But the ending was funny..GGG came out to the ring like a WWE wrestler and they confirmed the GGG v Canelo fight will be taking place on September 16.

Undercard was good..Matysse returned after an 18 month lay off and won by 5th round KO. The Lemuiex fight was a good one too..with him just absolutely landing bombs 10 straight rounds on his opponents head (Reyes..i think) and the guy did not drop.

Weighing yourself everyday is a bit of a waste. You'll naturally fluctuate by a few pounds based on what you eat, hydration, time of day, etc...

Plan is to weigh myself first thing in the morning everyday and take the average of 7 days. Goals to hit the 1-2lbs decrease a week and I'm good.

  4. Start of the monthhhh!

Weighed in 198.6lbs this morning..bit heavier than I wanted. Going to be tracking every morning now so I can make better adjustments to my macros, once I get a better average.

Estimated around 19-21% bf which was higher than expected via naval measurements.

    Time to go get it!

Winstrol good?  Can someone elaborate on Winstrol for me?

I heard it is great for cutting.

As others suggested..too many negative and long term side effects for short term gain. The same could likely be achieved naturally but would require a bit more time and discipline.

    -------------

For starters maybe try a caloric deficit on a flexible diet and  tracking app such as myfitnesspal.

This was one of the articles that helped me figure out what my daily maintenance calories were and how to create a surplus or deficit based on my goals.

    http://seannal.com/articles/nutrition/best-macros-for-cutting.php

You can adjust your macros, cut more calories or increase cardio when you see a stall in your progress. The app allows you to track your daily calories and daily macros and no cost.

In 12-16 weeks you should see significant results and hopefully it creates better longterm habits. As with steroid use, sometimes you can get away with staying within strict diet guidelines which could lead to high cholesterol and other issues.

Flexible dieting allows you to eat junk once in a while and not having to feel guilty about it.

Horrendous.  Yellow 5, Blue 1, Red 3, Red 40, Yellow 6, Blue 2  are confirmed cancer causing additives. Macro's aside, just brutal for your health. As mentioned before, you're better off just eating a chocolate bar.

Had no idea about that..def gives me something to research. Think I'll stick to actual cake chased with a protein shake.

    Fit For Less.

$45 for the annual membership, then $10/month.   Open 24 hours, unlimited access.  Nothing fancy, but has everything needed and is super inexpensive.

I go at 5 (super busy) and, on weekends, 10:30'ish (a good time)

Never been..but is it true that they have no showers, water fountains and more machines rather than free weights?  I'm sure complaints ive heard are over exaggerated but at that price point can you really go wrong?

Those things are about as good for you as candy bars. Many candy bars have similar macros and 10+ grams of protein. Adding a few grams of protein to a candy bar doesn't make something healthy.

I just love cake lol, but the sugar/sodium/potassium levels made it a bit more appealing for me.

Usually when I look or think macros I think carbs/sugar, protein, fat, fiber and sodium/potassium. I find with myfitnesspal its easy to track these.

It's easy to make your own protein bars.  I used to make protein chocolate/coconut bars.... just pretty much protein powder, coconut oil, vanilla extract, some grounded oats, etc.... then bake for like 20 mins and you have yourself some tasty protein bars.

    On a different note...

When do people don't go to the gym (hours)?  I treat the gym like meditation area.... some smooth jazz music, etc....

From what ive gathered, early mornings and fri/sat nights are best. Lunch and evenings suck.

I know the feels. I started beginning of April from a dirty bulk of 221 pounds. Currently intermittent fasting and down to 207 as of today. Hopefully I won't have to drop to anything lower than 195ish...

Oh man, IF gotta be tough. I'm one of those people who just has a habit of eating or snackin every 2-3 hours.

I plan on just adding 20-30 135bpm steady state cardio post workout when I see a stall in fat loss.

Yeah, I've heard similar things but only from a couple friends who I would consider casual gym goers, so their likes/dislikes are probably a bit different from mine.

If anyone here goes there I'd love to hear what you think.

Goodlife isn't bad for the fact it's Canada wide and about half of them are 24/7. It really depends what your looking for as this is the type of gym that is very busy. You'll see fresh gym noobs, average gym goers, roiders to senior citizens. They really go hard at promoting the "post workout selfie" in their advertising. All locations ive been to have a dry sauna, not wet and no pool if that's something your looking for.

All in all maybe try a 5 day trial, cause it's not the gym for everyone. My previous gym closed down and I was able to get a corporate deal at Goodlife as theirs one near my work and my home. Many employers offer the corporate deal, so check with yours cause its just over $400 for the year and includes towel service. I think regular is like $70-$80 a month.
