Their goalie had an .885 SV% and won.
Are we gonna pretend .003 is that much more superior?
Demko gave them just as much chance. Our special teams let us down at the end.
Thank you !!!! Alfs bull$&!# hate for demko is getting so old.. broken &^@#en record.

Sorry you are in Calgary. Next to Toronto it’s the ugliest, smelliest, loser infested city in Canada.
Nah Edmonton is waaay worse . Have you been to Winnipeg?

Not sure why everyone is doom and gloom.......Calgary, despite their standing, is a solid playoff team and the Canucks shut them right down. It wasn't a great game to watch, but it certainly wasn't a garbage game by either team
I beg to differ.. nucks were brutal all game.. couldn't skate . Could make the most basic passes. Petey didn't look interested all game. He's terrible out there

Was at the game, and believe Me it was twice as bad live . No one had jump at all .. brutal game.

if you're going to throw that many that early you need to make sure you finish it or you completely tire out, which is what happened
Exactly . Also fighting a lefty is tough work. Everyone's got a plan till they get punched in the mouth

I feel this would be a very unwise choice to have as face of hockey ops. Especially with what has gone on with ex Canucks over the years. I hope that Rutherford is more in tune with society to allow this to happen. We can not brush away past atrocities, and act like everything's better now. This gives the wrong look to young females and people from other countries as we try to grow the game, and just morally wrong in general.

Soo Burke had a domestic dispute charge in '97? Not saying it's good but I would hope he is not a bad guy anymore if it's been almost 25 years.
Should he be given another chance?
No he shouldn't. Set the tone for the rest of the league. That this $&!# will not be tolerated. Ever. Period.

That's why most players don't want to play in Canada.
Yep.. it sucks . Not to mention the ownership, hopefully with Rutherford at the helm that culture can turn around.

Unfortunately, I missed the game today.
Fortunately, it was because I went golfing.
Even more fortunately, it sounds like the boys played a good game and Petey popped two.
Good stuff.
How'd you shoot ?

Hunt was out of the lineup today. Burroughs didn't play a lot but took down a Washington player and dropped the gloves after they started digging in on Demko.
He got caught pinching twice (and pinched a few times successfully), but I honestly thought that the forwards were more at fault for not covering for Burroughs.
Yeah I like his game alot , little rust from not playing in a while. But solid. I like his no nonsense attitude he brings. No one is gunna get picked on when he's in the lineup and hates it when anyone goes near Demko, something we need. He's sneaky tough too and gets the pistons firing in a hurry, if he was poolmans size look out .

I didn't watch the entire game just from halfway thru 2nd on. Poolman had some brutal turnovers, how was he in the first half?
Solid defensively , and was moving his feet really well, got back to cover his partner a lot. but yeah definitely needs a skills coach.. hands like frying pans

Who else noticed Tucker Poolman in a very good way today?
The big man can skate for sure, solid positionally.. but man his hands and passes are brutal. Still a very solid game.

So it turns out that when your stars produce and your goalie plays well, you win games
