Alright I've had enough. Kassian can't even step foot on the ice without getting misconducts, and in a game where the refs are clearly trying to take control by calling EVERYTHING, they're letting Nolan get away with whatever the hell he wants.

Usually I find that stuff to be pretty dirty, but good job Bieksa. The intentional cross check to Quick's neck to get back at Brown injuring Luongo.

What I hate is that, other than the Sestito play, there are teams in the NHL that play exactly as "tough" as the Canucks just did that period, yet seem to get some sort of preferential treatment for it.
The Bruins, for example. When they're on their A-game, I would argue that they play MORE tough than that, with more post whistle scrums and more pushing and yapping. Yet you don't see 10 minute misconducts the second it starts.

That shift by the Sedins at the end of the 7 minute penalty kill made me want to cry. It was that beautiful.

Yea screw it, we're goners this year. Sure we can play hard, but we can't score. I love the intensity we showed, but how many quality scoring chances did we have? 1?
